Hilarity. He showcased his new rumored girlfriend at that T Mobile LGX party the other night. Y’all know those two chicks have some similarities in the face…esp. when Rhi Rhi first dropped. - In some sad and disturbing news, Yolanda “La La” Brown–who sang the hook on Lyfe’s “S.E.X.” song and other well known songs–was found dead with gunshot wounds outside of a recording studio in Milwaukee. She was 22 and her producer/possible boyfriend was found dead in the same place as well. Reports are saying they were targeted by shooters as they came out of the studio. Story Sad.

I just want to say, as a Milwaukee resident, that it was sad about Lala and her producer that were murdered this weekend. But what folks are forgetting to talk about is the fact that three other people were killed within two days, along with Lala and her producer. FIVE people were murdered in two days. Last week, SIX people were murdered in 6 days! Average age of these folks…about 18 years of age…and let’s not talk about the countless of other folks that were shot as well (yesterday afternoon three people were shot at the same time.).
I’m posting this because it is not only important that we cry for those who were famous and passed but we need to cry for the 18 year old twin who died and his brother that was in the car with him. We need to cry for the 13 year old girl that got her spine severed last weekend and will never walk again. We need to cry for the 16 year old that got shot in the head several times in a drive by 2 blocks from my house.
There is nothing wrong with folks responding to other pieces of news that YBF posts…that is their perogative…but let’s not forget those who aren’t as famous or as popular as the rest that are talked about on here.
To the 89 thus far that have died in Milwaukee…may u rest in peace and may your transition be peaceful. To those who have taken bullets may your recovery be strong and quick…do not lose faith. To those who are the shooters: may your time come quickly. And to those who deal with this on a daily basis directly and indirectly: it’s time for us to make a change take care of our kids, bring them in the house when it’s curfew, love one another, and respect life more than beef and material things.
