So Jamie Foxx has some new tv deals in the works:
Jamie Foxx signs a two-year deal to produce unscripted shows for MTV and VH1, with the first product of their new union being From Gs to Gents, a series “in which a group of men are given social makeovers in a bid to turn them into gentlemen,” efforts that a guest-starring Foxx will entertainingly attempt to thwart by dragging them to nightclubs, pouring alcohol down their throats, and urging them to “make it rain” upon nearby members of the opposite sex.

The Rodriguez family has instead decided to stay in their $12 mil home and Shaunie and the kids are still mostly living in the mansion. She’s not trying to leave and has not agreed to sell it. But Shaq isn’t trying to hear it. YBF was the first to drop the exclusive that Shaq was attempting to sell the mansion from under Shaunie without her even knowing.

Look at A Shot of Love with the Tila chick- She is GAY and has a show with men AND women, they are not putting all those freaky undertones in it, but the look at New York. She is kissin ALL the guys, smoking constantly, shakin her ass, tryna $%#$ all of them, and just actin loose. My sister says that that is NY’s fault, she is doing it on her own. That may be true-I am only saying that black reality shows are putting us down, while white ones are not necessarily lifting them up, but they certainally are not denegrating them as a race.

For example, Blacks spend hundreds of millions every year in cell phone charges, cable TV, fast foods and expensive televisions and the like. That’s how they like us, gabbing away on cell phones, filled with junk food and sprawled in front the TV looking at New York, the man with the Big Clock and now Jamie.
I’m not saying we cannot laugh and make funny movies and shows, and I’m not saying every Black movie must have only positive characters. Just mix it up a little – turn off the rap and hip hop occasionally and tune into some jazz. Turn off the cable and go to the theatre (even a school or local play), use the library card sometimes instead of the credit card and READ, turn off the cell phone and TALK to friends and family. Spend time with grandparents and record their stories. We are a beautiful, vibrant and essential part of America, and until the rest of the country wakes up, we should live and tell our story. I feel very connected to Black Americans because I am of the African Diaspora (Trinidad and now Canada). . End of sermon. God Bless
p.s. If anyone has a vacation coming up, I suggest going to the Charles H Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit. It is one of my favourite places to visit.
