Weekend Recap: Ne-Yo Finds His Inner Top Model+Celebs Do GAP & Angie Mar’s Hair Show

It just seems as though Neyo’s pictures posses always seem to come off soooooooo Gay. i’m not a stylist, but i am thinking a few things will help lil mama — a new do. maybe some bangs and a blunt bob cut. i think she should definitely lose any lipstick remotely connected to pink/red/rose/ etc… and maybe de-emphasize her eyes. on some people hazel eyes are cute, but on others it makes them look weird. ’cause i don’t really think she is unattractive, but just odd looking. i can’t put my finger on it exactly.

Well, what qualifies as “disrepect[ing] the owner of this site”? Because I’ve just got to point out that your comment about Mike Tyson being “already turned out” was cruel…it was not at all funny. There’s a way to diss someone and have it come across as cheeky and subjective and there’s a way to diss someone and have it seem stoic and cruel…and you’re not getting the former of the two most of the time.

I went to the angie mar hair show on Sat. It was wack!! Angie dont know nothing about no hair show. Did she got to other shows in D.C & Atlanta to see how they do it? she hsould have becuase her hair show was straight garbage. It was unorganized as hell. Tt was supposed to start a 3 and started at 4:30. They did a blow out competition on stage that was supposed to last like 30 minutes and it took an hour. They gave away Cds from record promoters. That was the only giveaways at the event. Akademiks had a small fashion show featruing their Holiday collection. It was ok. The best part of the hair show was the end of the show when Trey Songs & Fabolous performed. Angie needs to step her game up before she does another wannabe hair show. It was very unorganized. The wait in between each segment was 30 minutes. Whats up with the false advertising? no Keshia Cole. no Megan Goode, no Queen Latifah who was supposed to hosting, no Ashanti, no Eve. What we got was Lil Mama who looked like a man, Nina Sky, Julissa from BET, Juelz Santana and Missy Elliot. Misa Hilton was the only notewothry person on the panel. They had a panel for the so called beauty experts to give advice for beauty tips. all they said was get your eyebrows done and make sure the ladie dont wear their clothes too tight. just terrible. For a show that was supposed to start and 3 it ended at 9:00. A 6 hour hair show? Come on angie. She didnt rep for the Latino gilrs at all. Spanish Harlem would be so mad right now. Basically i didnt even get my $20 worth. They only had 4 people doing beauty make overs from Cover Girl. There were over 500 people at the hammerstein and they have 4 people giving makeovers? come on. I call that bad planning.The only creative hair style was the Jungle looking design made from all hair. There was no creative hair designs there. Also there was no networking for stylists. No materials on sale. No equipment to purchase, nothing. Very disapponting. Angie needs to go to DC and Atlanta and see how the real hair shows do it.

The Angie Martinez show was ghetto, a mess & most of all unorganized!!!!!! It looked like a BET Hip-Hop Awards show reject (And we all know the BET Hip-Hop awards is G-H-E-T-T-O. It was just plain awful, a waste of money and definetly a waste of time. I stayed all of 45 min and rolled out. I continued to shop in NY and travel back home to DC the same night.

Kelly is jealous because R.Kelly WAS the artist who wrote for other artists, artists in every genre and had that signature sound…Neyo is that guy now… I could see how it could make someone jealous…Neyo is doing just what R. Kelly did, only in a time where technology makes it possible for Neyo to be even bigger and better known than R. Kelly. So, yeah, he’s jealous…his music has dwindled to some sort of generic rap…
