Dark skinned females say light skinned females are "white" or "not black enough" even if they are fully black and "act black." I havent seen that on this blog but I am just speaking in general and from personal experiences.

People seem real angry. lol. I think its funny that people are saying that people call the williams sister ugly because they are dark skin. They have beautiful skin but ugly faces. They look like men to me. Thats just my opinion and no I am not jealous of them. I am sure they could care less what I think anyway. They seem happy and are very successful. I am happy for all their success and I hope they have more in the future. None of this takes away from the fact that they look like men.

My first reaction upon seeing the pics of Venus, was she looks really nice! Her hair cut and makeup were complimentary. The colors of her dress and halter-style neckline were very flattering. Serena also looked very nice. Tia's makeup was fabulous and I like her dress/shoe combo. People need to stop being hard on Venus and Serena. I think we all try lots of things before we found out which things work best for us. Cut them some slack. I think their athletic body types are healthy and strong. We should use them as examples of how to be fit, not disparage them by calling them "manly". That's just unnecessary.

The Williams sisters are beautiful and really doing their thing...you go girls!

I think the Williams sisters are fabulous. They are strong, healthy, fit and seem to have good heads on their shoulders. They should be held up as examples for young women, and not condemned because they don't look like what Black people perceive as the White man's standard of beauty. Some of ya'lll need to get over it!

Venus and Serena are beautiful to me and not because they are famous. I just think they are beautiful. But I do have a problem with Venus dating white men exclusively. Something is going on there. Why do black athletes men and women can't love one another. White people may date out of their race but the majority of successful black men and women marry out of their race and something is wrong with that. Serena seems to have come to her senses. She's probably understands that those white guys she and venus date wouldn't give them the time of day if they weren't famous. I am a Black Nationalist and I want black people loving and marrying one another and that does not make me prejudice. It makes me proud to be Black and it makes me a person who loves black love. And it can be found. Its not easy. Slavery and Jim Crow may have physically ended but black people's minds are still in bondage. White people make people like Venus and Tiger like they have self worth. I just once want to see Venus date a black man. Her father is black. Kobe to his credit sent Venus flowers so don't always say the black man only wants light or white women. From Lena Horne to Halle Berry, black women have always dated outside their race but then they have the nerve to complain about black men. But now that they are doing even more frequently than black men they want to say date who you want. They were not saying that when all the black male athletes were marrying white women. I completely understand why any race would want to date a black man. There is no man like a black man. I feel sorry for Venus.
