Janet baby, you rocked it. At first view I didn't know what to think. Second viewing, noticed the magic. Third time, got me hooked. With vision like hers, you have to open your eyes and study it. It's not for the simple minded. This video is so slick and understated, yet technically it's groundbreaking and genius. It, as she, stands the test of time. Get ya minds right for 'Discipline' people. Title says it all...

First, let it be known that Janet wore that same ponytail and catsuit style in the Busta Ryhmes video "Gonna Make Your Body Sweat" if I didn't name the title correctly, you tubed it, figure it out. But the video is there and this is before beyonce could walk, at the very least, she was a high school student looking at the damn video thinking, "Hey I wanna be like Janet when I grow up". Everybody needs to understand, and I think they do, Janet has been around for a long time, way before a Beyonce, Ciara, Rhianna. So why is it that now these girls are in the spotlight, does Janet have to be ignored? Janet set the bar, she set the standard, so when you see Beyonce with a group of dancers in the background dancing the same, that's Janet. None of these girls will ever come out with a Ryhthm Nation album, they will have good careers but will it evolve and grow. Janet will know when its time to stop, but if she doesn't, then let her make music and support her, stop hating. Beyonce is not the in all be all, there were artist before doin the same thing.

I am not a hater, but Janet should RETIRE ! I have never been a fan of Janet, though I did like very much her "control" album. However, this is not the 80's anymore, & should leave that puuur suit in a locker. Gurlfriend is not 20 anymore. She should do something more classie, maybe show some LEGS for a change, she always shows her breasts or her tummie, granted she has a nice trunk & all that, but WHAT about her LEGS !?? She'always covers them with pants.. Huh, maybe she got chicken legs ? As much as Mariah shows her, Janet always hides her legs. Weird !

I think most of time when u see stans making comparisons with another artist it's to keep their favorite artist relevant. Notice on every blog that they compare Janet Jackson the Queen of Music Videos to clones such as Britney and Beyonce. Beyonce's videos aren't groundbreaking or innovative. So the stans figure calling out Janet for the copycat ponytail it would overshadow Janet's style. It would give them the chance to say "Janet's not being original". It's funny cuz the ponytail has been here since Tina Knowles knew what a weave was. Britney's whole career has been an imitation of Janet. But now her crazy personal life has overshadowed her career as a fraud. The stans aren't too happy that Janet is back to remind them of just what Britney is a fraud. So they forget that Janet rocked the catsuit long before Britney knew meaning of the word "FAKE". Janet Jackson is an ICON. She has always been able to think outside of the norm and come up with an origianl creative idea. I think it irks the stans to see Janet taking risk and reinventing herself over again. The video is off the f***ing chain!

Her voice is so enhance by a synthesizer i thought T pain was on the song. SMH here comes the lip sync because we know she cant reproduce this live on stage. That concept of the video has noting to do with the lyrics of the song. Janet is trying to live off the pass, But what have you done lately. people always say she an Icon I ask for what? because it sure isn't for singing must be for dancing. Because if this icon thing is for singing Might as well we just give rihanna her icon status right now, because I heard Rihanna hit higher notes in the past 30 months of her career than Janet did in her 20, I saw Rihanna sing the national Anthem at a mets game. Janet is the only Major female artist I have never seen sing the national anthem at a function. Because she cannot.dam even Rosanne Barr try that shyt.Ppl have to understand when Janet was on top she and Micheal had MTV to themselves Internet had just started. Now that the internet is mature the playing field is level we cant be force feed no more. we get our information when we want it and how we want it.

Um..to the person that said that Janet borrowed Beyonce's ponytail..Beyonce copied her first...In fact plenty of singers copy Janet...Lets think about who was out first..Janet is a legend..People need to remember that..People copy her..not the other way around..Janet is also one of the most humble people on earth....big difference..Janet's last one was a flop..but she has loyal fans..She can come back out with a hot one and knock everyone else off the charts...

PS: The FIRST thing i noted was the LACK OF TITTY anywhere in the video. I am AMAZED. I didn't think Janet had it in her! I mean, i'll take all the heavy weave ponytail and black PVC catsuit on EARTH in exchange for less titty in a Janet video. I was in HEAVEN. I mean, i love titties (they are fun things, you must admit), but i was starting to see more of Jan's titties than i did my own. I'm just so proud that she put them away. Let us pray that trend continues for the rest of this album. I mean, i was so non-distracted by Penny Woods areolas, i actually WATCHED HER FEET while she was dancing, and got reminded of why Ciara is probably somewhere going, "Fcuk, man! No fcukin FAIR!!! :( JUST when i was gaining on her ass, here she is AGAIN!!"
