Well let’s see, I am a mentor with my local school system, I donate to various charities (my mother is in a Rotary which sponsors alot of programs that I support with monetary contributions), and also since I am a recent graduate trying to start on a career I am preparing myself to make changes where I see change needs to be made. In addition, their eldest son plays for a local university here, UIUC - to which they have provided lots of support. UIUC also happens to educate a large number of inner city (Chicago) students. SO, the $ he makes from his shoe contracts and other endorsements are supporting those who are needy and in the right causes. Yeah, I’ve never understood the hype of the overpriced MJs. I’d rather support athletes like Venus and Stephon (sp?) who make affordable and good quality shoes and it’s not because I can’t afford it. There’s so many other things I could think of to do with basically $200. But hey, that’s just me.
