I think she looks really good. Y'all can say what cha like - I for one appreciate a black woman who isn't afraid to rock her natural hair texture! She does it well and always looks FAB doing so. She looks much better now since she lost all of that extra weight that she use to lug around. I love crazy styled chicks and she is definitely one of them, crazy as in she looks like the type of freak that would gargle your semen before swallowing it.. Mmmm, wife material.

I find it ironic that the VERY person who is offended by the comments on this site gets paid to go the very same thing. You are part of the gossip engine that keeps moving the train as well. I don't just sit at home with nothing to do. I'm in the science field. I come on line to read some of the low crap that gets written on most of the gossip blogs just to see how low we can get. It's even worse at CNN. It's acceptable when it's about other celebrities, but when it's you, now we have a problem? Think about the people you and EW, TMZ, etc. rag about on a daily basis. Speak on it, JosephineBaker. Tanika, I apologize... I guess we forget celebs are people, too. Then again, that is apart of the business... This has nothing to do with hate, especially on a race level. YBF is just a distraction while I'm making my bread&butter. I'm glad you look like you were having a good time, but if Ashanti or Angelina Jolie (white woman, who I LOVE) would have been pulling this mess @ the Oscars, I woulda said the same thing. Being Black in Hollywood is difficult, and staying true to oneself in Hollywood is also difficult (I imagine). But being Hollywood is being held to a different standard, period. If you had fun & felt confidant, that's really all that should matter, not what some faceless person writes. BTW Natasha, way to be relevant... people be reading about themselves on your site:)

Well....I appreciate all the comments both sweet and not so much. ...I look at YBF all the time and comments on my style, attitude and vibe have been negatively criticized before but not until now did I feel I wanted to speak out to say Thanks!! Gotta take the bad with the good I guess. It's clear that people love to sit at home and hate on others.. It's all good. I used to sit at home and critique public figures before I was on tv. It's a sport. But be careful though..Karmas a bitch!!!! Everybody has their opinion and I respect that. I loved my dress for its simplicity and color and my jewels were the ones I fell in love with. They were vintage indian crystals that had some history and depth to them. I'm a california girl who likes to be comfortable. I FELT fly. Thats really all that matters. I had fun!!! I went to the Essence first annual awards bruncheon last week who honored Jada Pinkett Smith, Ruby Dee, Suzanne de Passe and Jurnee Smollett. The show was the most inspiring and uplifting mainly because it was all about black women supporting and loving each other. We apparently have a long way to go. Much love Tanika

Much love Tanika[/quote] Tanika your feelings are obviously hurt but I recall your appearing on the Larry King Show several months ago. - The topic was about an argument between the two 'View' hosts, at the time, Rosie O'Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. I didn't watch the entire King show because really The View doesn't interest me but you didn't have very nice things to say about Elizabeth. You were very "Pro-Rosie". So you're correct because karma is sometimes a witch! - Sorry but it is a huge stretch to equate the comments referring to you on this thread and how such comments relate to African-American women in general. It just doesn't make sense to think that just because I don't particularly like what you're wearing that I don't love, respect... other African-American women or even you. - Tanika you're a doll, (LOVE your hairstyle!) and loaded with personality. Obviously you are a success and you are a successful woman without the help of any of the people who frequent this website. - To me, it took guts for you to post your comments so apparently you won't let this get you down for long.
