Na, I didn’t like that video with Buffy and Gucci AT ALL.

The captions were hateful, racist and disrespectful and I don’t care if the person who did it is black, white or purple. We all know black people can be disrespectful to one another.

Buffy just has a very deep, very country southern accent- aside from that there was nothing shockingly ignorant or stupid about the conversation - it was mostly them teasing each other over the spa thing and his dubiousness about it.

This is not to take away from other ignorant things Buffy has said before - she is not the brightest bulb, but this convo was just normal.

Why was there the need to denigrate them and make fun of them in that cruel, derogatory way? It’s a-ok to call black people dogs and apes now? Just because we don’t speak a particular way, we should look down on those who don’t speak as we do?
