However, in many cases the man is the fall guy, and nobody cares, especially the courts. The court only cares about collecting money, they don’t care about the circumstances, which should be examined in every individual case. A guy could have a good relationship with his children, including caring for them financially. But, if the children’s mother says otherwise, or says nothing to back the man up, he is looked upon as a “deadbeat dad”. I think the system does as much harm as it does good. Mr. Lavert had no business being in the US hellish penal insitutions, and if he wasn’t, he would probably be alive today.
