And BET's Aleesha Renee's pics: Fab. Top Model chick Yaya Dacosta is still landing jobs. She's been cast as "Cassandra Foster", the adoptive daughter of "Angie" and "Jessie"/"Jacob" on All My Children. Her first episode airs April 25th. Can't wait. Definitely a good look. And Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon was spotted at the Pea in the Pod event yesterday:

I bought day 26's cd. I have

I bought day 26's cd. I have not bought a cd in a about four years. Co star is one of the best songs on the cd. I am glad they are doing well. I knew I was going to by this cd when I heard previews from the show. Do yo thangs boys. I am not hating but this is one of the best looks I have seen on Aleesha Renee. I love women who do what they have to do without compromising who they are. I think yaya has done just that. I watched an old show of ATM the other day. YAYA just happened to be on that one. They were telling her that she should not wear big hair and "african clothing' all the time. Her dressing may have changed a bit, but it suits her. She kept the big hair despite what the spectators may have said.

It is hard to live in a White mans world and have the courage to wear your natural locks to the office. I will give myself the courage on the 40th Anniversay of the death of MLK and wear my natural locks to the office tomorrow and dare anyone to say one word. MLK's dream to me means, be yourself, never stop fighting or believing that what (you) do matters.

Raheem Devaughn is the Truth. Saw him and Jill in Chicago Easter weekend. Love his whole album " Love Behind the Melody". I agree many are sleeping on his talents. Hey, he may be short but he looks like he can do some thangs. Have heard his co-star on the magazine. Will keep an ear out! AR is a cute girl. Stop all the hateration. Ya-Ya and Bree are the only two that I have seen in commercials and print. Ya-Ya is a very good actress. They should do Where are They Now of ANTM. I want to know what happened to Robin from season 1.

Is this Avenue report mag online or only sold in a certain region? I’m lovin the cover of two of my fave men in the game right now B.Cox and Raheem. I have big natural hair and

I have big natural hair and get those looks from white people and my co workers. What was most hurtful was the fact that black people have negative things to say about it. I’ve even had African American women say some stupid things to me like they can't believe how pretty my hair texture is or how long and thick my hair is. Black people are so crazy( brain washed) they think the only way to have beautiful hair is to have it straight with some tacky bone straight weave attached to it. I let go of that mental enslavement a long time ago. It's sad that black women depend on perms and weaves to bring out the natural beauty that we already have. I always hear that weave helps change your look, then why do you wear it 24/7 like a crack head looking for another high! I stop perming my hair 6 years ago at 19, and my hair is just like Ya ya's, but before the cut I never needed weave because I had hair on my head! stop wearing weave like it's a natural part of your head, because you know that straight silly look is not you! it's European! Stop perming your daughters hair so young, that’s why they don’t have edges when they get older, you burned them off!

Bryan Michael Cox is THE best

Bryan Michael Cox is THE best songwriter around. I love his ballads. He has written for some of everybody. Usually when I like a song, he wrote it. I love his work with Jagged Edge. The best songs on Day 26' album, he wrote, which by the way is an excellent R&B album.

My hair is soooo thick & I like to sleep in in the AM; I don't want to be dealing with it for an hour! I don't do the weave either; I think its way overdone. I definitly agree with you on that front.
