I always thought Satch Dash

I always thought Satch Dash was beautiful but I never thought she was 42 with children! She still look like the same girl from clueless. She making me want to go to the gym so I can look like that when I' am 42. Who ever said black don't crack is right! It is good to see black stars, especially women, in hollywood aging gracefully and looking healthy, like Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Mariah Carey, etc. They prove you can look great and fabolous in your late 30s or early 40. She just gave me something to aspire too...lol.

Before some of ya'll chicks get all vicious and what not, I'm just saying people shouldn't start throwing up and feeling bad about the way they look. I go to the gym all the time and I'm still a steady size 8. I'd like to be a 4-6, but that's not what my body type is. Moral of the story, try to appreciate what you have because you never know what people go through. Halle Berry is the ish, but she's a diabetic. I'm perfectly healthy!

Stacy looks great!!! And even if the picture has been "touched up", you can't fake that kind of fitness. I'm 37, 5'5", and a size 4. I'm often mistake for 25 by young bucks, women I work with, and even by my new GYN. I don't have goo gobs of money nor goo gobs of time, nor a personal trainer, but I make sure I eat properly and stay away from the fried crack that is Popeye's chicken. I go to my hardcore, intense, 1 hour fitness boot-camp 4 times a week sometimes 5 if I'm bored after work on a Friday. If you want a body like that you have to work on, for it, and take the time to do it. And if for some reason you can't spare an hour, half-hour, heck 15 minutes if you're a working mom, you can still eat healthy. That's the one thing you have in your power. I can deal with excuses for not exercising...I've said them all. But I can't deal with someone, anyone who is very much over-weight and I look in their fridge or desk at work and see scooter pies, snickers, dipsy doodles, and a liter of sunkist. Ugh. Stacy is da' bomb diggity and I'm secure enough in my straightness to say she his hot!!! I think I'll go buy this issue.

Agree with The Hostile One.....though she sounds very non-hostile and realistic in her advice. Yeah, with the one saying "J" in a good way, I totally relate. Damn.....I will never look that good. Still all the best to her though we all have been blessed in one way or many ways or another. It does get tough when we start comparing ourselves to anyone. Especially to those with extra time, money, to assist them in their God-given blessings. Just have to work with what we have. Not eat ourselves to death; really sistas its this processed food, this red meat, this sugar and the lack of actively keeping the Lord in our everyday lives that ages and diseases us. Envy will do it as well. Inner peace and beauty will adorn even the plainest "according to world" looking person. Give it up to ourselves and keep the FAITH!

She just shows it really is no excuse to being out of shape. The time you spend watching tv or on the Internet you could be running...so we say things like "oh its not realistic..." but damn that when you see reports about kids and teenagers, who have on average 5-10 hours of homework a day, on the Internet 35 hours a week, like they are getting paid to be searching the web. Anyway, its great to say those things, but in retrospect, it should not be said because we all have time to eat healthy and structure our lives to look healthy and young. What happens on the outside, is a direct result of the way you are treating your body on the inside. Remember that the next time you see someone who is 40 and looks 20. Essence does an age issue every year...it is proof.
