Carmelo Anthony Cops A DUI?
Multi millionaire NBA dudes never cease to amaze me. Carmelo Anthony, seemingly eternal fiance of MTV’s LaLa Vasquez, was arresed this morning in Denver on suspicion of drunk driving. According to reports:
Anthony was driving south on Interstate 25 at around 4 a.m. when he was pulled over and taken into custody. Denver police said he was driving a silver Mercedes and was stopped for failing to drive in a single lane and failing to dim lights. Several Denver media outlets reported that he was given a Breathalyzer test.
He did take a blood test and was released on bond a while later. His test results will be back in 2 weeks and his court date is set for May 14. Didn’t you just have a kid Melo? And can’t you more than afford a damn driver? Let’s do better.

I thought a DUI is driving under the influence
and a DWI is driving while intoxicated.
I doubt that they would need 2wks to get tests back on whether Carmelo was drunk or not. Breathalyzers and all those other tests - more instant results.

What kinda charge is “failing to dim lights”? Geezus! Just call it what you really want to call it! DWB! Now if he was intoxicated, yes, by all means charge him with a DWI! But what is failing to dim lights about? And why is this taking 2 weeks? Did the police officer give him a blood test? Isn’t a breathalyzer instantaneous? I’m in NY, where the cops pull you over because they hate the fact that a Black man is in a nice car and they either bust ur azz or shoot you right on the spot! I don’t understand these Denver police and these imaginery charges and rules, lol.

I try to cheer for Carmelo, because he plays next to my favorite player Allen Iverson. But dude is stupid. He is a good player, but he plays about as stupid as he looks in that picture. I just read tmz update and they said they called la la to come and get him but she refused ok people make mistakes and he did all of them drink it’s aot of suspicion his toxicology report don’t come back for 10 days so we don’t know every thing But the thing about la la ok you can be mad but i would have went to go and get him if i was him i would put her ass out my house cause it is not that serious.
