I agree with getting tested every six months and still using a condom even when married. A marriage certificate and love are not going to save you from bad infections and bad intentions. We get negative results then go out to celebrate with a very expensive lunch. Ladies and gentlemen don't delude yourself with romantic notions about marriage with condom free hot passionate monogamous sex. There a plenty of long-time married people who are getting a positive HIV result every day. Even the best of people make huge mistakes. I just don't want to pay for my mistake or my husband's mistake with my life. Use condoms. If you are still risking i.e. foolish to not use a condom, married, single, gay, straight, other, then at the very least get tested often and make sure your partner or partners get tested. As for the book, it's nothing new. If he names names that would be interesting. But if all he does is provide vague descriptions of real life people that's something writers have been doing from the beginning of storytelling.
