J.Hud definitely has a Broadway voice. Didn't even want to bother with that Ciara song. I'm thinkin' I am the only person in America who hasn't seen one episode of Sex And The City...it never really appealed to me.

I'm not sure how eithe rof the songs ended becasue i couldn't stand the thought of hearing them all of the way out. Jennifer's song sounds as if it didnt make the Dreamgirls soundtrack so they decided to put it on this one. I would have expected something more laid back and sexy for the Sex and the City soundtrack. And the hot assed mess that began Ciaras song was utterly ridiculous. I hope that it does not end up on the radio getting serious airplay becasue it is definitely a quit it.

Well the J-Hud song is suppose to sound mainstream for the movie... So of course it will be different just like the dreamgirls songs were meant to be different.. Either way, she sang the hell out of that song... Something that people of all cultures will enjoy. It gives me that Mary Tyler Moore feeling... and I think that is what they were going for and they hit the nail on the head.. Kudos JHUD

GO ON J-Hudson...You folks gotta understand SEX IN THE CITY is not an urban movie, therefore the soundtrack has to be pop/dance and all that extraness. J-Hud is letting you know she has that voice and is sitting in the sidelide waiting for her time. I think its a great look, as the movie is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and I can just see the song playing in the movie when Carrie goes in one of them "shopping binges" lmao!!! Wow, J.Hud looks great!! I can't wait 4 the premiere of Sex and the City. It's just sad that the one position she is gonna get in such a high profiled movie is as Carrie's assistant.
