Friday Foolywang Material+More Quotes From Chris Brown

House of Damnitstillwrong just won't stop. Now Beyonce and Mama Tina are trying to bedazzle your kids:

Head Over Heels
Apparently the Knowles clan is expanding HOD into a whole new kids line. It's all kinds of wrong going on in this ad.  And I'm mainly talking about the clothes themselves.  And to think...after I saw the "Dereon Dancers" (real talk) at the Nets game last month, I thought the foolishness had peaked and would come to an end. Damn. More foolishness when you read the rest...

Michael Jermaine Latoya Jackson thought this outfit was pure hotness. Chick is looking like a plastic mold too. Check out the crispy mess that is Latoya having a "moment" while at an event in Germany last night:

Is that her bra underneath that Forever 51 top? And is any of this real? Me no likey.
WENN

We've got more excerpts from Chris Brown's EBONY cover story: At 19, Chris Brown makes no apologies for being grown and sexy. In an exclusive interview with Ebony magazine, the R&B crooner opens up about dating, sex and taking his music to the next level. On how his sound has grown: I wanted to do something more along the lines of a grown record, explains Brown about the June re-release of his sophomore album. I wanna take her down, he says of the new single by the same name is a title that he carefully considered. That sounds a lot better than drill, nail, smash. We made it a little bit more classy. On being grown and sexy… “I don’t wanna be cute,” says Brown. “I want grown women to say, ‘Damn, he fine.’” On being a positive influence… “I was getting older, and I was like, ‘Let’s make nasty records,’” “Then I’m like, ‘Nah, I got kids that listen to my record, man…’ I still try to tone it down to a degree so parents will look at me as a positive influence.”

His perspective on relationships: I date sometimes, he says. If I ever had a girlfriend, it'd always be a problem. Fans want you to be attainable. I try to stay away from even having a girl. I go on dates, talk to a couple chicks on the phone. Very interesting. Meanwhile, those pics of Chris getting frisky with Rihanna (or vice versa actually) all up in the KFC yesterday scream otherwise. My how things change so fast.

WHEN LITTLE GIRLS DRESS

WHEN LITTLE GIRLS DRESS UP-THEY WEAR NICE DRESSES AND SIMPLE PANTS AND SHOES. THE CONCEPT IN THESE 'HOUSE OF DEREON' ADS DOES NOT REFLECT THE MINDS OF THOES WHO HAVE LITTLE GIRLS. THESE CLOTHES ARE MEANT TO BE WORN IN PUBLIC. WHAT ARE WE TELLING OUR LITTLE GIRLS? WHAT ARE WE TELLING OURSELVES AS PARENTS? LEAVE THE LITTLE CHILDREN ALONE. BEYONCE AND TINA "SHAME ON YOU". NOW WE KNOW WHY BEYONCE WENT TO THE 'THUG'SIDE.

Children’s Place, OshGosh,

Children’s Place, OshGosh, Gymboree, baby’s r us, etc and their ads look nothin like this. the reason they look like little whores in the HOD ad is because AA/Latino/asian women are still seen in society to be the toys of men. and ads like this will only continue to fuel the fire. so b and mama t please stop feeding into the negative stereotypes of minority women. and someone please tell mama t that her ass is over 50 and she needs to just sit down and let her kids run their own lives

First off, you can't blame

First off, you can't blame Bey and Tina for rolling out a clothing line because they know that alot of women will buy it. Look at who their target market is: AA/latina/asian consumers. AAs are the biggest consumers of clothes, jewelry, sneakers, etc. Therefore, making their pocketbooks that much deeper with "your" hard earned dollars! Now, In my opinion, the ad is very glizy and glammed up to entice you to run out to the stores so that you can buy those clothes. The children in the ad do not look children. One poster wrote prostitots!! (tooo funny and too true). I am not a Knowles hater. In fact, I like the Knowles family for their independence, drive and determination. These ladies are about their paper! Simple. They know how to hustle and make money. But, on the real, I have seen the clothes up close. They are not very well made, overpriced and they scream fashion victim! I have a 4 year old and I would NEVER let her wear any of these clothes. The main reason, 1)poor quality 2)overpriced; 3)Too many embellishments, 4)do not hold up very well when they are washed. There are many women who are looking at this ad thinking that the ad is "dress up" but the reality is is that advertising is pure perception. Many of us will go out and buy these clothes based upon what we see. It is advertisement. So, for those who will be pulled into the "dress up ad" do what you gotta do. But as for me, I refuse to buy these type of clothes because of the reasons mentioned above and the ad is just "over the top/inappropriate for children in the age group that they are trying to target. (Just my own opinion). But, the girls in the ad are all cute. They would be even cuter without all of that makeup on and minus the high heel shoes. That to me is NOT cute!

Hey, this ish don't look

Hey, this ish don't look right. Beyonce and her greedy mama need to stop. Ain't no hatin, just tellin the truth. I don't give a damn how much money you got, don't start this makin little girls look like minature prostitutes. Oh hell to the yes, boycott House of Taking Advantage of Little People. Somebody needs to kick Tina Knowles in her fat posterior, and snatch that wig off Beyonce's head for following her mother's bad taste.

BMW: That "hater" comment was

BMW: That "hater" comment was actually going out in general to so many young women (and who knows posibly men) on this site who talk down on those they do not know. I was stating that the comments on Beyonce and possibly others clebs are just ridiculous. If you personally know the person great! Tells us why she/he is such a horrible person. But to just say oh I hate her or she this/or that. Just sounds very High School to me. About the ad...its just that. I mean Really, who's letting their daughter leave the house like this! I know I'm not!! And Hadley Street....no I'm not a club chick, and I never leave the house half dressed. I was simply stating you need to look at things in fashion/art context and dont try to blow every little thing out of proportion...some things are just that simple. If anyone is really looking at ads to dress yourself and your child, they have more porblems than I can name.

I have never made a statement

I have never made a statement about B or Mama T and what the hell they be cookin' up in the Creole kitchen, but this is a hot ass mess. I do not condone dressing children up like baby hookers, this is out of pocket. I can deal with the clothes, sorta, but no child should be in high heeled boots. This shit is wrong wrong wrong
blaquecheri's picture

I need you all to look inside

I need you all to look inside yourselves before you answer this question? If you think that this ad is appropriate for children, are you also that girl at the club leaving nothing to the imagination and then wondering why all the men are being disrepectful to you? Well this is the same concept ladies. Whether something is hot or not doesn't matter because when you put yourselves in certain situations there are concepts that are universal. Men will perceive a women with no clothes on as fast just like pedophiles will perceive a little girl with heels and makeup as enticing. Therefore, when you go to the club and you want to be respected you CHOOSE to tone it down. You might not be a ho but your clothes and appearance will speak for you.

However, when there is a blatant misuse of a word, I find myself compelled to point it out. In this case, it is obvious that you believed your use of "Add" was correct. "Ad" is short for the word advertisement, in which case, the word is "ad" not "add". Not trying to call you out, but just FYI...

CHERYLINMIAMI- The last time

CHERYLINMIAMI- The last time I checked little girls played dress up to look like a princess or some other Disney character-not a street walker. HOD is an "urban wear manufacturer" and the very fact that this line is selling out our little black daughters is pathetic-not pretentious. As a black female entrepenuer she should be setting a positive trend in the black community-not setting us back hundreds of years. When was the last time you saw a Gap add or Ralph Lauren add with toddles sexed up-PROBABLY NEVER because the white community would be in an uproar. But not you, and the other Laquisha's on here who think this crap is hot. I have NEVER wasted not ONE of my hard earned dollars who ANY type of line produced by "black urban wear designers". Personally, I prefer a more classic refined look.

Can someone please tell me

Can someone please tell me what is it about the HOD ad that screams "HOOKERS"! I'm staring at this picture so hard right now, and I still don't get why people are having such an uproar over this ad! Yes, the makeup is far to much for the girls, and the high heels has got to go asap! But yall make it seem like they are wearing wife beaters, and booty shorts! This line is no different than babyphat or ecko. I have never seen a prostitute dressed like this, so how does this line portray that? Most definitely the clothes are tacky and dry, but I think some of yall are getting alittle too overboard. If I could change anything about this ad I would first fire the designer, and change the pose of the Asian girl in the group photo. Basically I would change the line all together lol! I feel like some of yall are just looking for a reason to trash Beyonce and her mother. Went to the Aaliyah post and some of yall was talking about her there, when the topic wasn't even about her lol! But I can feel some of yall frustrations with the way kids are dressing these days. What yall need to be more worried about is Plise new clothing line "BUST IT BABY! Now that's prostitution! HAPPY MOMS DAY! God bless
