Michelle Obama Is F-I-E-R-C-E

Michelle Obama, wife of Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, has definitely been putting her best foot forward lately. And I always love to focus on a YBF chick so we can all share in her fabulousness. The NY Post is profiling the Mrs. and her fashion sense. And I must say, she reminds me of a more modern day Jackie Onassis. And I love it. As a corporate lawyer for several years, a mother of two girls, and a wife to the soon to be most powerful man in the world, she's still holding it down on the fab side. We love her outspokeness, intelligence, her carefree PDAs with her husband, and her willingness to take chances with political fashion. No wonder her husband always looks absolutely smitten in each and every picture with her. Even Oprah, who is ecstatic about Barack's official nod, speaks extra highly of her. And now we get to find out even more about her personality as Michelle's set to co-host The View on June 18th. A YBF chick indeed.

Michelle doesn't need to rock Chanel at all if you ask me. She is rocking Obama, Malia and Shasa and that trumphs Chanel every time. I think most of us here will support Michell if she were wearing Glad bags. I think most African American women can relate more to Michelle Obama than Jackie O. I'm going to agree with Lisa. Jackie O? If you want to bow to someone try Coretta Scott King or Ethel Sakel Kennedy (Widow of RFK). I don't mean in terms of fashion, I speaking about greatness. As Rev. Al would say "Just Keeping It Real."

The View hasn't had a truly intelligent black woman (that speaks her mind) on the show since Star Jones. I wonder how they will handle that.

Not only was Barrack raised by a white woman, but he was predominantly raised outside of the U.S., so I was pleasantly surprised that he married a sista!

I love Michelle Obama. She is very classy and carries herself in such a regal manner. I absolutely fell in love with them both after the hand pound Tues. night. It was off da hook!!! We all understood wut that meant....(We got dis!!!) It was classic. Have a great weekend ybfer's!
