CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISM: For the next ATL season, please include a more diverse career selection for the participating males. According to the 2008 Census Gov. Press Release, there are 52K black chief executives, 48K black lawyers and 45K black physicians/surgeons. After researching espn.com, I have estimated that for the 2008 year, the NFL has 2,240 players, the NBA has 450 players and the MLB has 960 players giving a grand professional athlete total of 3,650 athletes. EVEN IF all these athletes were black, (which they are not) 3,650 athletes cannot compare to 52,000 black chief executives or 48,000 black lawyers. As a minority, it is important to not send the wrong message and leave our community with “hoop dreams” because they look on television and the only successful blacks (specifically males) that they see are athletes. There is a black myth that states, “The only way a black person can be successful is through entertainment.” Many blacks are trying to combat this myth but we would like your assistance. Lauri's 16 year old kid she exploited on the first season sits in an Orange County jail at this time on drug charges that many suspect are due to his being left to his own devices while Lauri was partying at the Playboy Mansion and gold digging her way up the ladder. The son even admitted to this in an interview. And to think both George and Lauri claim all the negative commentary they have received is coming from their combined former spouses or past lovers is laughable since there are hundreds of people who see right through their smoke and mirrors and some are obviously former friends of the dynamic duo. Doubt if their marriage will last since it is rumored George latched on to Lauri because it was a shoe-in for him to get on the show and brag about his success. It is also rumored the second young secretary George had an affair with, the one that finally ended his marriage to his first wife, walked in on George and Lauri at the home she shared with George (the home that is currently featured on the show) and that's how she found out George was cheating on her with Lauri. Yet poor Lauri really thinks she found her Prince Charming. He did promise her on their wedding day on NATIONAL TELEVISION that she was his one true love, but which one? Only time will tell. It isn't number 1 since that promise failed. Number 2, well, that was just a quick fling that he quickly paid off to keep quiet. And number 3? Well that one lasted over 2 years and he paid handsomely out-of-court as well to keep that hushed and out of the media since he is a big time "Respected Man in the Community" that is according to Lauri. And those infidelities are the ones people know about or ones he was actually caught at! What goes around, comes around, Ms. Lauri so I would be keeping your eyes wide open and a short rope. It's a sad day when a new cast of a mainstream show are majority black women....women who are privledged and blessed to live in the best and drive the best and are being knocked and judged prior to being viewed....and by their own black sistas. So what most are married or have been married to athletes. From what I read above all are about their business on their own merit whether it was fueled by their husband's success or not. Yes we have housewives, working wives, and ex-wives that are wealthy by means of medicine, law, and or politics but don't knock the ladies that represent US that hold their man down who happens to be or have been on the field. Whether you believe it or not, being an athlete isn't like it was back in the day. Most athletes have advertising deals, clothing deals, restaurants, books, and investment portfolios that would surprise you! I vote Juanita Jordan for Real H-Wives of Chicago...oops she was married to Mike and her owning her own marketing firm and other business ventures don't count so I guess that's not a good look for us black folk....sarcasm at it's best...

i'm glad they have black ppl now... i just wish Hollywood would put more focus on wealthy black ppl that did get rich cuz they got a sick jump shot or a rapper... where are all the black lawyers and engineers or doctors... I know they out there cuz ebony showcases at least 100 of them every year….

Just giving a shout out to all the hairstylists at Shyne, love yall! I'm sooo excited to see how this show is going to turn out, thank god we have some sista's on the show FINALLY!
