Barack Shuts Down Interviews With His Girls+Video Chicks Fight On Weezy's Set

Barack Obama gave Access Hollywood the priviledge of interviewing his most prized possessions--his YBF daughters Malia and Sasha--recently for a 4 part series that kicked off last night. Both he and Michelle have been extra hesitant to expose their girls to the media in ways such as this, so this was an interesting surprise. Apparently, Barack and Michelle mainly allowed it because it was Malia's 10th birthday. However, after such a large response and so much attention have been given to the girls after part one of the interview aired, they've reconsidered their decision. Obama put out a statement today saying he would no longer allow media to interview his daughters because he wants to protect them from the scrutiny and attention he already gets himself. Smart move. Here's a snippet of the interview:

I'm loving these kids. UPDATE: Aww shucks. Jesse Jackson has spoken up and offered "apologies" to Obama about some crude comments Jesse recently made about the Senator on a Fox News show. Apparently he didn't know they left his mic on. The words are airing tonight on Fox news at 8p cst as Fox has said they're airing all his comments in full. Even though Jesse wouldn't say today what these "words" were but is surely aplogizing in advance. Oh what could it be....

In the insignificant but funny news of the day, a photog source on the set of Lil Wayne's new "Got Money" video that was shot recently tells The YBF that all kinds of drama popped off on set. And of course, it was between the two lead video vixens Bambi and Dollicia Bryan. Bambi almost came to blows with "Doll" after she criticized "Doll" about using her ass to further her modeling career. Yes, I have the confused look on my face as well. Apparently, Bambi is college educated and feels like she's a better "model" for not ONLY using her ASSets to get play in the industry. So she decided to call Dollicia out to her face. Here's what the source had to say:

I'm a photographer on many music video sets. I was on the lil wayne feat. t-pain (got money) set. Dollicia Bryan and Bambi were going so hard on each other. Bambi has a college degree and has done a few videos but thinks Doll is a hoe and degrading herself by basically being a tramp in all of her video roles. Bam has done 50 Cent's Amusement Park, Game's Pain, and was the bank teller in Lil Wayne ft. T-Pain's video. She was saying how she's been fully clothed in all of her video appearences and "Doll always has her ass out". Doll of course was also in 50 Cent's amusement park, Bow Wow's, Ja Rules and many more. Bam says Doll is gettin the roles because she's tramping herself out and so on and so forth. I think this is a cool story because you have one lady (Bam) who is really doing this thing to advance her career and do movies which she's done a few, she's just as bangin as Doll and not gettin the pub cuz she's not showing her ass and that was their whole argument. And then we have Doll who is gorgeous as hell and all over everything but she is always a sex symbol. Anyway...Bambi whooped Doll's ass with words and seeing that she's from the hood I'm sure she'd whoop her ass in a fist fight as well.

Bambi, who has been romantically linked to 50 Cent recently, may have a point. But honestly, it's like a liar and a thief having an argument about who's not as bad. Both folks are doing some ish that's just not all that respectable. I'm just sayin'... The Randomness:

1. Sucks to be Michael Vick right now.
2. J-Lo is closing down her Madre's restaurant after 6 years until "further notice". Hmmm...

BAMBI VS DOLLICIA: I guess Bambi (the video chick with her clothes on) is taking the Lauren London & Eve Mendes route. Two previous video chicks who turned into actresses. However, I think we can all recognize that Doll is fu#king for tracks (extra length on the video tape). JESSE JACKSON: Just shows how divide us black people can be. OBAMA: Just stay away from the women (other than your wife)! There's a few hollywood chicks making false random and somewhat flirtatious comments. I.E. Wow at the video girl

Wow at the video girl supposed drama. Like someone else said, if you have a college degree why not go into your respective field. Or at least take on roles that do require you to act if you're going to criticize someone. Being a video girl is not the only way for a black actress to make it. Bambi talking about the other girl is like the pot calling the kettle black. On another note. I love Obama. But Natasha could you next time not have this post with video ho drama. That just does not match up AT ALL. You also did that with the Tocarra and Naomi pictures. Why they were in the same section as KHIA I just dont know. This information about Doll and other chick should have went with the Khia follywang material. That would have made for a better editorial layout, and appropriateness as far as commenting goes. Similar topics should go together and not this b/s with Obama.

Black people are so damn color struck. Ladies, don't even sweat these simplitons (sp?) This is yet another contributing factor to why so many black women don't deal with black males anymore. They are too caught up with the color/hair texture issue to even learn what a person is about. Black women are guilty of it to. It seems the lighter you are the darker your mate and vice versa. I mean, we all know where it stems from but at this point....DAYUM. We still trippin' on that. White people (specifically white women) have the same issue color struck issues when it comes to showcasing the beauty of black women. That's why the Halles, Beyonces, AKeys, Vanessa Williams types are always gracing the covers b/c the white women (who actually work behind the scenes) find them less intimidating. Now the white males who actually OWN the companies, can't get enough of the COCO CURE and it infuriates so many so much so that they will rarely show these same gentleman taking these darker women as lifetime mates. So in fact, opposites do attract. My point is, darker ladies, don't let the ignorant comments of the Young Bergs, Kanyes, Puffy (not so much thru his words, but always thru his choice of leading lady and fuck buddy of the moment), Jay-Z (when he called being in a Fantasia video a "hood look"...i peeped the real meaning behind that) and the countless black males that only acknowledge dark women as beauties if they;re some sort of relative (mother, sister, aunt, daughter)...don't let these jiggaboos make you feel less than b/c you're not "diluted" (if you know what i mean). Naw honestly everyone was on Wayne's set because it was shot the day before the BET awards so everyone was in LA for that and came through to see Wayne shoot both videos "A Mille" and "Got Money" which didn't finish wrapping until 4 am so a lot of people were tired going to the BET awards. So I saw Bambi really tryin to get that lead and was willing to do just about anything. It's relly sad cause a video is only hot for 2 months max then its old news. For her to do all she did was just not worth it. And a lot of girls were really mad that Dollicia got that lead because being Wayne is the hottest rapper now selling a mil in his first week a lot of girls wanted that lead part in the "Got Money" video. But Dollicia got that lead because of her King cover. And the other robber lead girl with Wayne and Dollicia is name Brittany she is not a video model but a GREAT dancer she also choreographed Ciara's "Promise" and a couple other things very talented young lady you will see her skills when the "Got Money" video gets released. Bambi was not originally supposed to be the bank teller but the girl that was supposed to do it had some air line trouble and couldn't make it so they just threw her in at the last minute because of all hoopla she gave about wanting to be in the video. She was not even the top three best video models on set. Chanta Patton was also on set she was the lead girl in the "Dangerous" video with Akon but she is just one of the dancers in the video. I'm not defending anyone I'm just saying what I saw with my own eyes on set that day.

I liked the interview, though

I liked the interview, though I can understand why he won't allow it again. People were criticizing who he allowed to do the interview (since Access Hollywood usually does entertainers) and how his 10 year old, Malia, was acting. Some people were saying she was acting "too grown for a 10 year old". I thought it showed how great of parents they really are because she's so poised, composed, articulate, and intelligent. But, maybe that's just me. I mean, if she were ignorant, illiterate, or "acting ghetto", they'd still talk sh*t. Barack just can't win with some folks! BARACK THE VOTE OR DIE '08!

I saw the Obama interview on AOL and I didn't understand what the big deal was...People we're saying that the kids interviewed badly but I really thought the interview was cute. I love that family, they seem like geniune people thats been through REAL stuff unlike the Bush fam. Oh lordy, Dollicia, I can't stand her ass and I don't know her. Bambi got some good points. Adorable kids. I can understand y he will not let his kids be interviewed but on the same token it was good to see him be him for once and not Obama running for president. I got to see his personality,and it wasnt fake. It is what it is. For people who are undecided see Obama has a family with true family values, and too see what his kids thinks of everything who are black, who is running for president is a jewel that we will probably never see again for awhile. What history book, story can we go back to in history where we see a BLACK man talking about his family that is running to be president of the united states. Stand tall, because I for once enjoyed every bit of it!

I think Barack's concern was that the interview got all over the place and he didn't want his children exposed like that. Plus you know how some of them will take interviews and chop them up and make it look like something was said that wasn't, etc. etc. That's what he was fearing. So no more interviews. I think he made the right decision.
