Halle Berry hit up the opening night of the 12th Annual Black Film Festival in L.A. last night. She kicked it with John Singleton and looked fab in her little black dress. And Lisa Bonet was spotted again in NY taping her new tv show "Life On Mars":

I also just heard the news about Bernie Mac. His death is reported on all the internet news sites. My condolences to his family. I loved the Bernie Mac show. My mother and I would watch it all the time. I'm also from Chicago so I loved the Chicago connection. I'm really saddened by this news. I heard that he was in the hosptial with pneumonia but I had hoped he would recover. This is so sad and sudden. God Bless Bernie Mac :(
