Dr. Dre's Son Andre Young, Jr. Has Died

In very unfortunate news, Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young, Jr., reportedly died over the weekend in a sudden and not yet explainable death. I waited to post this until I found a credible source reporting the news. According to LA Weekly, 20 year old Andre Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning (Aug 23rd): Young was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M., according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M., found him unresponsive, and called 911. Exact cause of death is being determined by a toxicology report. This is such sad news and our condolences go out to Dr. Dre, Andre Jr.'s mother, and their families. UPDATE: People is reporting that no foul play is suspected and Dr. Dre and family have requested privacy during this time.

When death comes, it comes in waves like this... and it's just really tragic and sad! I hate to assume, but either he had a pre-existing health problem, or he took a deadly drug and/or cocktail mix like Heath Ledger. Dre has been through so much... My prayers go out to the family!!

I know what he is going

I know what he is going through...I walked in and found my 17 year old son dead in February. I will be praying for him and his family. This really breaks my heart. It wasn't until my son's autospey that I learned he had an undiagnoised heart defect that took his life. I will ad Dr. Dre to my prayer list. C
