Oprah's Mom Sued For Not Paying Her Bill!

The recession has even hit Oprah's mama. Lady O's mom, Vernita Lee, is being sued by high-end fashion store Valentina Inc. because of a past due bill of over $150,000. Vernita lives in Milwaukee and O is clearly not footing the bills of Vernita's open ended charge account with the store. According to Us Weekly: As of July 1, she has racked up a bill of $155,547.31 in purchases and interest, according to the complaint. (Lee was required to make a minimum monthly payment of $2,000 to the store, the paper reports.) Valentina attorney Joseph Niebler, Sr., told the Sentinel that at some point Lee stopped making the monthly payments. He added that the store had tried to resolve the bill before filing the lawsuit and continues to pursue a resolution out of court. The store is asking for full payment plus interest, the complaint says. (Lee has until a Sept. 19 hearing to answer it.) Vernita says she doesn't owe a damn thing and has hired three attorney to get her out of this mess. But she refused to comment about it when asked. I have a feeling Vernita needs to stop playin' and move in with Stedman and Oprah since she's having money issues. Actually, it's not really "money issues" when you're running up bills at a fashion store. It's not like she had a bill for groceries. Sounds like she just needs to be reminded that her ass is not her daughter Oprah and, therefore, does not have that Oprah money. In other news...

Yes, Oprah probably bail her mother out on several occassions and I think that she is taking advantage of Oprah's kindness. Her mother never wanted her and treated her very badly. Oprah's father on the other hand doesn't take advantage of his daughter and run up bills! Oprah's mother needs to handle her own business. She can always get a job.

Oprah admits she was wild, out of control ,and screwing every boy she saw back then . Her mom couldn't control her that's why she sent her to live with her dad. I do agree that she doesn't owe her mother anything, but Oprah needs to get over those mother issues. To be honest, I thought the woman was dead until a few years ago when she was in the audience and Oprah introduced her to Will Smith. She rarely talks about her mother esp in any positive way. And as far as her being dark skinned, Oprah needs to love and embrace her dark complexion and stop trying to lighten it up with all that damn make up . It looks like a mask.
