my family is in charlotte and for reasons beyond my understanding my 73 year old great aunt knows ALL the details of Fanny's bizness. over christmas she broke it down. according to auntie Fanny is too busy laid up under some "slick haired bum" who calls himself a "one of them rappers" even though "he ain't even got no records out!" so, she's too in love to show up for the color purple or in court. that's what auntie says.

But have you ever heard of this book named "Gal" by an author named Ruthie Bolton. That is an awesome read. In highschool I would read that like every month it's a true story. Depressing, but not as bad as PUSH.
