Rihanna Spotted On The Beach In Mexico!

So much for fleeing to Barbados.  Word has it Rihanna's people led the media to believe she jetted to Barbados right after the whole Chris Brown assault scandal.  But now pics have surface of Rih recovering in a private beachside villa in Punta Mita, Mexico right after the incident.   It is still possible she went to Barbados for a day or so, but sources are now saying she spent most of her time these past few weeks putting herself back together with the help of the Mexican sun. More pics when you read the rest... Word also has it Whitney Houston offered words of encouragement to Rihanna.  She reportedly told her (through the media) to forget about Chris and not to make the same mistakes she did.  Interesting...

She is looking beat up

She is looking beat up emotionally only, that's all.She always had circles under her eyes without makeup - look at her pictures water skiing with Chris last year-and it's called stress/lack of sleep. But her biggest stress is because the whole world is commenting on her life. I guess because we don't have lives that keep us out of theirs???So the pathetic ones are us, not Chris, not Rihanna. They are young enough to get their problems straigthened out. They are two of the most decent celebs I've seen out in a long time. Both raised in spirituality and love - so I can't see how Chris is doomed to a life a 'woman beating'..They are blessed to have found each other so young, just hope that they know how to move away from the violence, jealousy and enjoy the life they've both worked so hard to acheive.

Baaaby, she is still looking

Baaaby, she is still looking busted up! I can't believe all these rumors that they are back together. I hate that she made that decision, but like grandmother always says, "you can't want more for somebody than they want for themselves." *smh*

I knew that she was gonna go

I knew that she was gonna go back. And that shit is hard to even deal with too. She loves that man. No matter what he did. I think the both of them needs to get help. She has been seen by plenty of people being violent towards him and htat's sad too. I feel like you dont hit at all. Woman or man! I think that it maybe ok for them to go forward but they need to also know how to walk away and accept the heartache that comes. My cousin still stayed married to her husband 25 years. After all the fighting and drugs and jail time she finally left him at 50 years old! She has a new lease on life and she says she doesnt regret a minute of it. She still loves her husband but she eventually realized that she could let go. That is most important.
Ok in Bk's picture

Who still cares about her,

Who still cares about her, her 2 knots and her busted lip because that's all she had. She was NOT brutally beaten. She ain't got a broken nose or no broken bones. She still getting her photo ops on vacation and in L.A. like she always has. The media blew this out of proportion and I hope I stop seeing her one day.

Do you have to be a chris

Do you have to be a chris brown groupie to not want this child to be sent to jail or loose his career over one mistake. From the picture I saw, Rihanna was not hit with his fist. It was wrong, very wrong, but how many celebs out there haven't made major mistakes and still continue on. Not just celebs, how many of us in our day to day life don't make serious mistakes and are still able to rebound from them. My main point is that Chris is young and he is NOT destined to be a woman beater. He has a choice in that. And Rihanna has a choice in stopping her temper too, if she in deed does throw things at him or hit him.

ugh. so many ignorant

ugh. so many ignorant comments to address... 1. if rihanna did in fact do anything physical to chris he shouldve taken his sorry ass down to the police station and showed them HIS bruises. that would be the best way to prove it rather that running straight to his mommas house. he didnt do that, so it SEEMS most likely that he didnt receive any. 2. any woman that in any way implies that rihanna is somehow responsible for this beating is either being beaten or has never been beaten. shit is real, if you are being hit, you need to leave, there are MEN out there who don't beat women, and its not normal. 3. chris brown isn't a monster and he is only 19. but um, he didnt 'mistakenly' punch her in the face a bunch of times. he 'deliberately' punched her in the face a bunch of times... 4. obviously they've spoken. they were dating for what a year? 5. RIHANNA IS NOT WHITE! why would you say that? thats the dumbest thing ive ever read with my own two eyes.... 6. no one should be going so hard on rihanna. if it was your sister, your mom, you.. would you appreciate that?

Yes, I do believe in self

Yes, I do believe in self defense and if someone hit me, automatically I may pay them back in kind. That picture of Rhi went way beyond self defense, especially when you consider the other party was supposed to be a lover, friend, and confidante. What would he have done to a stranger? The violence, the rage, the cruelty(and someone think its a natural black thing) Rhi was lucky she got away with her life because that confrontation was nothing less than sadisitic, akin to behavior displayed by those men who pick up prostitutes and torture them. Such behavior is not learned overnight nor does it arise at the spur of a moment.

Chris Brown’s career will

Chris Brown’s career will suffer because of this. He will for a long time be seen as an abuser. We all make mistakes in life and we all have to suffer the consequences of those mistakes and Chris isn’t any different. Ya’ll can’t blame Rihanna for something he chose to do he better man up and take responsibility.

Is it me or is everyone acting like they know for a fact that Rihanna hit Chris first? Is it so hard to believe that a Chris would snap and use violence first? I think you guys keep

I think you guys keep forgetting Rihanna just turned 21. Calling her weak and stuff, she still has alot of growing up to do, she still has to learn about herself. Some of these comments are so ignorant, talking about where are her bruises, bruises can heal in 2 weeks, also notice how she has been covering her forehead she is still coverning those other scars. She is a victim of abuse; I know we joke about what people are wearing and what not, but issues like this? I just don't get how yall can make jokes about this.

Whats funny alot of woman

Whats funny alot of woman think if there man dont hit them they dont love them. or want to get hit and will do anything to start a fight. so not all of them are victims i think the victims are the ones who do nothing yet get smacked whennever they do something un pleasing to their man or when he's angry they are victims. the ones who stay for their children families financial means. Why did rihanna stay if he was abusive??? she has everything they only been going out a year. i dont think she is a victim

I wish you old Cougars would

I wish you old Cougars would sit the fuck down and stop acting like yall got a degree in psychology talking about hood rats and people traumatized hood rats in here or people must be traumatized. no one thinks hitting women is right However if a woman is going to be hitting the man than she deserves it right back. Because your female it makes you more right to hit a man????? than when it comes to jobs voting and presidency you ask for equality yet if a woman hits a man its ok because shes a woman and more weaker? STFU. if you dont want anyone to hit you keep your hands to yourself Nobody should be the victim of someone anger or be hit on Man or Woman. i bet if we find out rhi rhi was hitting him youd be like so he should have called the police yet if he did. you ppl would be here on this same page saying he's a sissy and would have wanted his career to end for charging her. What if it was your son? uncle? dad getting beat on by a woman. do you know alot of men get abused by woman as well but dont wanna seem like a sissy so they keep quiet and cant leave because the woman are too crazy. my mom was one of those and my dad was so kind but the minute he didnt play servant or give her what she want all hell would break loose. But i guess its ok right because she's a woman. or i guess he aint a man or he should just have walked away although the woman would probably burn his house down or other B.S. NO ONE deserves to be a victim./ dont hit if you dont wanna be hit. So you Tired bitches shut the hell up. you same bible preachers doesnt the good ole book say an eye for an eye? if rihanna was hitting him she deserved what she got although apparently it wasnt that serious based on all the presented photo's since the altercation. but if he just beat on her without her hitting him for nothing- which i highly doubt given the small bruises and rihanna's ways than he desrves everything hes getting. at the end of the day whoever started it was wrong..

I completely agree that was

I completely agree that was my take on when i first heard the story. i have never been in abusive relationship, but i do have a sister- in law that get beat, and she has stayed with him. he has hit her while she is pregnant, i have seen it first hand and did nothing cause i'm not married to him and didn't want him to hurt my kids. i just choose not to talk or see them. so i dont understand why they stay and i would leave or hit back. now saying all that love make's you do crazy things. its easy to say what you do if you were in the situation. you can't judge til you have experienced it.

Ok, first of all I did not

Ok, first of all I did not label Chris Brown as a monster. In the beginning I felt that way, but I do realize he is a young man who( if is truly sorry) made a mistake. But some mistakes you cannot take back and I don't believe Rihanna should continue a relationship with him. Like I said, if she wants to forgive him fine; but he needs time to get counseling and get over his anger issues. This will not happen over night; therefore she needs to keep her distance. You already see what he is capable of; why not just move on and find someone who treats you better? She's too young to be dealing with such drama. Second of all, I was being honest with my situation and I said it was taken too far for me. Did I say that I stayed with the guy? Thank you. Also, my opinion on the black community and domestic violence was a shock too me. If you read blogs such as dlisted and evilbeet( primarily caucasian blogs) you will see that the people commenting there called Chris out for what he did and he was criticized greatly from the beginning of these reports. When I read this blog & another primarily african american blog all I saw was a slew of people not believing Rihanna, and taking up for Chris Brown. Many comments about how she's violent, what did she do to provoke him, Chris couldn't possibly be like that, etc. Check it for your self. And to be honest, all though don't quote me....the laws were probably enacted because more whites REPORTED it. From the comments here, I would conclude that more blacks probably consider domestic violence a mere "fight", or they blame themselves so they probably don't report it half the time..

I feel sorry for you all. There is better life out there where no man puts a hand on you. I do not think these people only lack self esteem - they have been psychologically traumatised as well. Not on any level do I agree with men beating women, but she could have left his ass alone during round 1!. Just my opinion. Unlike many women who don't have the means to leave an abusive relationship, what's her excuse, and don't give me no BS About LOVE![/quote] 1. How do you know that there was a "round 1"? Maybe this particular incident was the first time Chris was abusive. Abusive people don't always show themselves to be abusive until there actually abusing someone. 2. Most abused women have the physical means to leave abusive relationships, that's what women's shelters are for. What is needed is the *emotional* means to leave. Abusers are often very good at manipulating the person who they abuse into staying in the relationship. That is the cycle of abuse: love dovey, abuse, apologies and love dovey again, repeat. Through this cycle victims can actually became emotionally attached to their victimizers. This is what is known as Stockholm Syndrome. 3. People like you who jump to blame the victim also make it difficult for victims to leave their abusers. Who will they lean on for the emotional support that is necessary to escape the abuse?
