Claudette: I read this book it is soooo sad and what that poor girl went through with her parents is a nightmare I am anxious to see this and all the acting not just Mariah considering the book it must have been hard for Monique to play that role some of the things that woman does to that girl is disgusting. Girl i read the book too. The movie probably won't put everything that was in the book. The book damn near had me in tears so I can only imagine how I'm going to be in the theatre. But I will go support this one. It looks like they did a REALLY good job with it. And did I see TYler Perry's name attached to it? I have to go back and check. If so I'm surprised..... He only seems to put out garbage. So people If you can go and support damn Madea then you NEED to support this.....

I can't believe people are

I can't believe people are trying to put Beyonce down by falsely claiming that Mariah Carey is a better actress. In my opinion, Mariah and Beyonce are on the same level and Beyonce should probably be ranked higher since Beyonce's movie have either been loved by the critics-Dreamgirls or loved by the public-Obsessed. Glitter will go down as one of the worst movies of all time. It was so bad it led to Mariah's breakdown. I can't believe people are praising Mariah because she decided to get ugly. Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman have all played unattractive women way before Mariah did. Does anyone else find it interesting that that the good teacher and social worker are light skinned and the trouble girl and her mother are both dark skinned plus overweight. Dark skinned black women are never considered worthy enough to be loved.
