I don't think Reggie's lack of skill have anything to do with Kim, or him being a "team player". He is simply not the #1 runningback many thought and hoped he would be. Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas, whom both entered the league after him, have proven that to be a fact. They are killing it while Reggie is being killed. He is an afterthought to the Saints now.

New Orleans number 1 Saints Fan: I don’t think it necessarily has to do with Kim…it’s the whole “Hollywood”…he went to college were red carpets and being catered to is notorious for being the norm. Reggie is simply not focused….anyone that has played an organized team sport knows that some of the basic fundamentals of winning is being a team player, being focused, and just out right being hungry for the game. As far as him being a team player give me ONE time where he has showed selfness on the field versus several actions on the field and via interviews that he has given (i.e Times Picayune, Nov. 27, 2008 , I mentioned this one bc it sticks out in my head ) where he continues to make it all about himself and not his efforts WITH the team. Mike Bell did an interview as well stating that he, himself had to become humble after being cut from the Broncos. He’s hungry and willing to do whatever (whether that means taking a back seat, giving a block, etc) in order for the team to win. Yes everyone had high hopes for Reggie, but truth be told Reggie is not really a running back, he is more of a halfback or tailback.. Plus Pierre & Mike Bell have nothing to do with Reggie’s performance, that should make him want to do even better. Reggie has talent but he’s not doing the things to cultivate it…Producing on the field= lots of playing time. If you recall Pierre was brought in as a secondary when Deuce was there and also because it was inevitable that they would began to start phasing Deuce out (shown by all the times we were 3 and 1 and they didn’t put Deuce in). Needless to say we are 4-0 GEAUX SAINTS I think u quoted the wrong person because I said Reggie's performance had nothing to do with Kim.It was reported during training camp that Reggie was getting. I've heard Reggie talk many times about "team" effort. As far as Pierre and Bell...I never said they had anything to do with his performance. Hell, if they did he would probably be doing well, lol. But what their performances do is make him look even worse than he makes himself look because they are doing so well. Reggie's has talent but when the expectations for you are high, and you don't deliver...and you have two other guys performing better than you...your talent - it doesn't matter when it's no benefiting the team.
