I get tired of people always talking about those girls accents. Everyone has a damn accent depending on where they are from. Your accent is the reason people can tell if you're from the south or up north or the islands. So really talking about someones accent is like calling someone ugly. We are the way The Lord made us! Does speaking "properly" mean that you are intelligent? Does speaking "country" or slang mean that you are not intelligent? C'mon. I think intelligence is best shown in your actions. Personally I enjoy watching the show and when the smoke clears most of us wouldn't turn down a chance to walk a mile in their shoes. Some people always gotta put someone else down. Maybe if you could congratulate a person when you see them going up, The Most High could lift you up too and then you wouldn't have time to be talking about how you think someone should speak or act.

To the poster speaking for all people who received degrees, maybe you need to check your sources because they are wrong! I went back to school and received my bachelor's degree from a top school while raising two small boys under five and one of my sons is disabled. I was also working full time while going to school. I worked hard in my classes and always received good grades graduating cum laude amongst students who didn't have kids or work. Their only job was going to school. Please don't generalize everyone into one pot as you are well aware America is way more diverse than that.

I'm sure Tiny and Toya are good people when it all comes down to it yada yada and all that jazz crap. The only reason she is even getting another show is because of Lil Wayne and the only reason her and Tiny got a show in the first place is because of Wayne and T.I. When they were promoting it they referred to themselves as Wayne's ex-wife and T.I.'s woman. Not Tameka from Xscape because yáll know damn well people would have been like "who from what?". Yes Tiny has made her own mark or career or whatever but let's be honset. That is NOT why she got a show otherwise she would have had it long ago on her own. People only talk about her or remember her now because she is with T.I.--plain and simple. Aint nobody checkin for Xscape. With that said. The reason an average hard-working black woman will not get a show about working her way up to the top is because it is not what the majority wants. It will not be popular and it will not sell or get ratings unless she is an all out hoodrat or some shit. Yes people love drama--I do too but the reality is America will only capitalize off of what they can sell and could care less about whose image or community they are hurting. I agree with alot the comments because I think as an african american woman we need to show ourselves in a more positive light. Starting with education if you got money to get it. GET IT!!! Just the partying with young kids we have to set the example its so much mess out there in this world. Also, I'm not sure if TI controls Tiny but if so its becasue she wants it. I know women who do not live relationships becasue the are in fear becasue of no money ect. However, Tiny was doing her thing before he was even on the scene so I know she has some money to make it on her own. So it is what it is. The show is going to be a joke and she will not be a role model for my daughter I will.

i agree with the notion that these young ladies are not role models for anyone. although toya can not help that she happened to marry a man that would later become a very well known rapper, BUT with all that has been afforded her because of that, she has done nothing to better herself. she says that she doesn't want to be known as wayne's wife, but still goes by the name carter. she said on the show that she feels less than when she is around other people because she lacks education, yet she hasn't enrolled in school. however, we DO see her at the clubs promoting parties and promoting this foolish show. i am not saying she should live a modest life to prove anything to the world. she has a very fortunate circumstance that most of us would love to have. it is what she is doing with it (or not doing with it) that i have an issue with it. what is her book going to be about anyway? gossip about her and wayne? what advice will she be giving? how to marry a rapper? i don't get it. but then again, we make people like her celebrities, so how can we blame them for really thinking they have something real to offer when we don't require that they do.

I was just lurking, but when T*I*P walked on the stage at that fundraiser for alzheimer's disease and asked everyone to go outside and he gave her that (leased) car I was also shamed for them, I can imagine the people who were also embarrassed! cauacasion people would have died before they did some coonery sh*t like that, that was horrible, tiny should have never even allowed him to do something tacky like that, like the other comment said that wasn't the tim or the place! BET~why????????? they shouldnt have even showed that episode, but they make money off of how dumb people look on tv because we LOVE to watch people make a fool of themselves, that just goes to show us once again no matter how much money you have us black folks still make a fool of ourselves!! Their show is ghetto without the fab. Her friends r tacky and think they are fly. I would much rather watch mature, grown women in professional careers providing a different aspect to urban living other than hoes that got money off fucking rappers, athletes n such.
