PICS: Lebron James & Chris Bosh Don Their New Heat Jerseys With D. Wade

Bron-Bron, D.Wade & Chris Bosh showed off their jerseys and pearly whites as the new Miami Heat trio. And these are the first pics of Bron and Chris in their new Heat gear.  Do we smell a championship ring?

More pics and jersey swag when you read on...

The new trio looked happier than ever as they attended the Heat Summer of 2010 Welcome Event at American Airlines Arena last night in Miami. Smoke and bright lights filled the arena as Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade showed off their keys to the city:

Bron-Bron looked extremely happy with his new teammates. Cleveland, who?

I'll say what I've been

I'll say what I've been telling everyone else that has asked me about Lebron going to Miami, it's not good for the NBA!!! Any true sports fan (not just a Basketball fan), knows this isn't good for the sport nor the actual team itself. Ok, you get 2 out of the top 5 players in the league on one team. All 3 of them sign 6year -$100 million deals. They will probably have the best starting 5, well 3 around the league but NO DEPTH behind them. Every successful team always has a good bench. I am wondering how they can even afford to pay anyone else on the team. Everyone else is going to have to get the bare minimum/bottom of the barrel type of deals in order to play on this team. Anywhoooo...I can't wait until the football season starts.

I like Wade and have always

I like Wade and have always liked the Heat but I'm sick of Lebron. He is so full of himself, is he more important then Wade and Bosh neither 1 of them had to have an hour special for their decision. I still remember last year when he lost to the Magic and wouldn't shake hands what a loser. Then he was all fake this year with Boston. I am no longer a Heat fan, come on Chicago, NY, Boston or Orlando anyone in the east besides Miami
Anonymous's picture

ok, I'm not a Cavs fan but it

ok, I'm not a Cavs fan but it broke my heart when I saw their fans crying in the bar when Lebron made his decision. I just think he went about it all wrong and maybe he was upset at ownership for some reason but in actuality he ended up hurting the fans. I'm glad he went somewhere where he feels he will be happy but he didn't need to make a huge spetacle with it by having a "special" in regards to his decision. Only time will tell if hurt feelings will disipate but I do feel bad for cleveland. Although I'm a Magic Johnson fan, I know he wouldn't have conducted himself in this manner but we live in different times and different times bring different mannerisms.

How One Woman's Cells Changed

How One Woman's Cells Changed Medicine Cells From Henrietta Lacks Used in Research on Polio, Cancer, Flu 102 comments By RON CLAIBORNE and SIDNEY WRIGHT IV Jan. 31, 2010 PrintRSSFONT SIZE:SHARE:EmailTwitterFacebookMore In a microbiology lab at New York's Columbia University, Professor Vincent Racaniello experiments with some cells that have led to some of the greatest medical breakthroughs of the last hundred years. But these are no ordinary cells. Since the '50s, one woman's cells have helped cure diseases and made billions. They're called, HeLa. And they were first used in research that led to the Polio vaccine, as well as helping to develop medicines to fight cancer, the flu and Parkinson's disease, and in the research that led to gene mapping and cloning. They were used to test the effects of atomic radiation and sent into outer space. All of the HeLa cells, trillions upon trillions of them, originally came from one person-Henrietta Lacks, a poor 30-year-old black woman who died nearly 60 years ago. "The list of things we can do because of that is just incredible," said Rebecca Skloot, who wrote the book, "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." Related WATCH: New Clues in Cancer ResearchExcerpt: 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks' In 1951, Lacks went to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore suffering from cervical cancer. Before she died, doctors took some of her tumor cells for research without ever telling her. "They never asked permission to take the cells, which was standard at the time," Skloot said. "They just took them." Researchers discovered that those cells did something they'd never seen before: They could be kept alive and grow. "I think we owe a lot of gratitude for what Henrietta provided," Racaniello said. "There's absolutely no doubt about that." Lacks died later that year, but her cells lived on, providing a seemingly endless supply for researchers around the world, and eventually for companies to sell to sell for profit. "It's hard to pinpoint how much money has been made, but it's a lot of money," Skloot said. To top it off, no one in Lacks' family ever knew any of this for more than 20 years. When they were finally told in the 1970s, they were stunned, then angry. "That's the main thing that's troubled me about it," said Bobbette Lacks. "Why was it kept such a secret?

Why shouldn't he be happy!?

Why shouldn't he be happy!? He's now in a place where he doesn't have to put the entire team/organization on his back and can come out and play his game instead of being the only scorer. Imagine having all that responsibility on your shoulders year after year, having an entire city depend on you to bring a championship to the city? Talk about pressure. Jordan and Kobe couldn't do it by themselves and neither can Lebron.

People you still don't get

People you still don't get it. James can play ball wherever he wants, the Cavs fans are hurt and angry because he said he wouldn't leave and the owner is pissed for many reasons: LeBron could have told him so the team could make other timely trade etc and now the team is worth less than $150 million dollars because he's no longer there. The economy of those business around the basketball area will definitely suffer and his team mates are truly looking at serious uncertainty. LeBron, Wade and Bosh used those other teams as a smoke screen to accomplish getting on the Heats roster. The nba chairman should look into tampering issues because something is definitely wrong. Pat Reilly used Wade in tampering.

ok lebron gave 7yrs of his

ok lebron gave 7yrs of his life to the CAVS period !! the guy deserves a chance to move on in the end of the day hes lookin out for his career you cant put the whole city on that mans shoulders its not fair thts why he left he needs a team tht fits him better he was carrying the cavs on his bac now hes wit wade and bosh where he belongs and just watch the transformation !! #teamlebron
Bbrazil's picture

So true...and maybe LeBron

So true...and maybe LeBron could have been more upfront with the cavs but I can't stand how the owner acts all pissy when owners and gm's do this kind of stuff to players all the time. Out of nowhere a player can get traded and have to uproot his family but they're not supposed to complain because its a part of the business. It has to go both ways so I'm happy for LeBron even though I wanted him in Chicago.
CheyPie's picture

The way the owner acted, its

The way the owner acted, its obvious he didnt care about Lebron. He gave them LONG 7 years. The org had plenty of time to good people around him. its not his fault about all the years of losses. Some of that stuff was before he was born. You never know how a person really feels until after the breakup. If they really cared, they would always want whats best for you, even if it means you not being with them. Gilbert is the selfish asshole here, not Lebron. He's mad that his team lost value, thats all. Most of the NBA owners treat the players like over paid slaves! These guys were just smart enough to buy off their land and get their 40 mules and an acre. Screw Gilbert, not only does not deserve Lebron, he doesnt deserve to be an NBA owner. He is unprofessional and makes the NBA owners look bad. He lied to Mike Brown that he wasnt letting him go, what happened, he fired him. 60+ wins, fired. Karma is a Bitch!

While companies that sold

While companies that sold HeLa cells made billions, Henrietta's family had little money, and, in perhaps the greatest irony, some of them could not afford health insurance. As Lacks' family learned more about the medical advances from HeLa cells, the anger gave way to pride. "What makes me happy about it is it's something that my mother has contributed to the world," said Henrietta's son Sonny. To this day, Lacks' cells have lead to major medical breakthroughs and the companies selling her cells make billions of dollars. To this day, her family has never been paid a cent, nor been given an apology.

All this hate is coming from

All this hate is coming from people who are afraid the chip is locked down for the next 5 years. It's okay for Kobe and the Lakers to scoop up free agents at cheap prices. It's okay for the Celtics to have a big 3 but lebron is suppouse to stay loyal to the cavs because it's his hometown. I thought they may have pulled it off this year but they would have been lucky to get past the magic. They would have lost to the Lakers in 5. Although I didn't like all the lights, camera, action lebron chose to go with to depart cleveland I think he made a great decision. He would have been lucky to win one title in cleveland this way they can possibly win more than 6.

Lebron and Wade have been

Lebron and Wade have been friends for a very long time. I doubt egos will get in the way. It's not like Kobe and Shaq because Shaq was like it's his team and Kobe is a sidekick. Lebron and Wade will share the stage as the main guys and they will include bosh but he will always be looked at as a sidekick. It's better to be a rich sidekick in Miami than the man in Toronto
Anonymous's picture

Winning conquers all. Not to

Winning conquers all. Not to long ago Kobe was accused of rape and he was a sponsors nightmare. Now the Lakers win a few titles and no one cares about rape charges. Once these guys win a few titles together no one will care. Well other teams fans will hate but thats given.

Wow man why did it physically

Wow man why did it physically hurt to see him in that jersey? I mean I know its all bizness but come on man Cleveland was your home. Thats like breaking up with yo girl on the ride home and pickin up your next shorty, takin pics with her and posting it right where ya old girl can see it! Wat other free agent done having photo shoots and events a day after they chose to sign all strapped up in the next team gear? Have a heart Lebron, luvs you but please have a heart.

Actually, Cleveland is not

Actually, Cleveland is not his home...he's from Akron. Someone shouldn't put their career and success on hold because of some fans
Me's picture

i meant Ohio is his home but

i meant Ohio is his home but im not saying he shouldnt have gon to another team just that 1/ dissing his hometown team with the rest of the contenders after 7 years was just disrespectful. He could of told them from the end of the season that he was flying the coup not have them in suspense like the other teams. 2. Dang let that ish sink in, dont literally run to throw on some other jersey like you couldnt wait to not have to wear the cavs jersey no more. Who does that? Literally 1 day after "THE DECISION" (arrogant as ever) he was wearing another teams jersey. You done broke their heart, just be easy fa a while
Same Anonymous as above's picture

You should have known he was

You should have known he was leaving the Cavs by the way he damn near ripped the jersey off in the series...and threw it on the ground. He couldn't wait to get out of that dang jersey. The point of the game is to win...nothing else. That's what champions aspire to do, WIN!
