Wesley Snipes Going To Jail! + Alicia Keys Parts With Longtime Manager

Damn! Looks like Nino Brown is officially headed to jail. Plus Alicia Keys parts ways with her longtime manager. More deets when you read on.....

Back in 2008, Wesley Snipes was convicted of three misdemeanor counts of failure to file his income tax returns. His hopes of avoiding jail were crushed yesterday when a federal appeals panel denied his appeal and sentenced him to three years in prison.

Although his lawyers argued that the sentence was "unreasonable", the court upheld their original ruling for Snipes to serve out his 36 month bid for his more than $12 million debt. Damn homie.

Hope he remembers those fighting techniques from Blade.

And pregnancy has not slowed down Alicia Keys one bit. The Grammy Award singer announced her split from longtime manager Jeff Robinson, CEO of MBK Entertainment Inc, after 15 years. The split was described as "amicable." Robinson and Keys will continue to collaborate and produce future albums together through MBK/J Records while Alicia will now oversee all aspects of her own personal career. A rep for Keys issued a statement saying:

"MBK Entertainment Inc. has been the management firm for Alicia Keys since she was a teenager-guiding every facet of her career, including the international success of her Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum albums, films and branding opportunities. Keys and Robinson have been partners for over a decade and would like opportunities to pursue other endeavors. Their decision is mutually agreed upon and amicable."

AK Worldwide is taking care of management duties and her mom and best friend Erika Rose handle that so she will be fine. Jeff has taken on several new artists as he is trying to build his management company so the decision makes sense. Alicia’s career is already established so she doesn’t need as much management as a new artist would. Jeff is still staying on for her musical direction which is all that matters. Alicia maybe making some decisions we don’t understand but she aint that crazy. She is not letting go of Jeff and Krucial for her music, she is keeping the people around that she trust the most. Snipes didn't have a chance with his inexperienced lawyer. They worst thing you can do when you go up against the IRS is agree with their bogus charges, which is what Snipes attorney did. His attorney swore to uphold the laws of this nation and not to go against them. That includes the extortionists. Like I said, only a few chosen attorneys dare to go toe to toe with those criminals.
