AUDIO: Fantasia's 9-1-1 Call!

The 9-1-1 call made on Monday concerning Fantasia's 'suicide attempt' has leaked. Read on for the audio...

The caller was outside of Fantasia's home at the time of the incident and told the operator that Fantasia was losing consciousness and had been put into the shower to wake her up. The caller also made note that Fantasia had taken "a bottle of asprin".

The police arrived quickly after and transported Fantasia to a local North Carolina hospital. She's currently in stable condition.

In MY days of living on this earth I have been taught by older women, pastors, my grandmother, and men. Yes men. That we as black and beautiful women should respect ourselves and DEMAND that others do the same. I dont know that many will get this when reading, but a young, black street man said, "if a woman dont stand for something, she will settle for anything". Whether good or bad, we have to lay in the beds we make by our decisions we choose to make. Allegedly trying to commit suicide is not the answer. You wanted this man came hell or high water, calling telling the wife how Antwan didnt want her. Making sex tapes with Antawn and buying him motorcycles, to taking pictures at the beach hand in hand. Now you have him and YOUR not happy, and being sued by the other party. Didnt think this would happen, huh? This man caused you a lawsuit and overdose, you are beautiful black girl, sweetie, know you and next time dont settle.

I believe and honestly feel it had nothing to do with the fact of the married man i think it was an aray of things from her career and taking care of her entire family she has been through alot not to mention her own dad sued her for money that he rightfully didnt deserve so for anyone to TRY and pin point what the cause of her actions were they need to first think about all the things this young lady has been through and have mercy for her thoughtless acts pray for the child that could have lost her mom and as well the family who could have lost a love one because no matter what the case may have been she is still human...And i pray for her and continue to respect her as a strong african american artist trying to make it out here with so many people trying to bring her down and far as all the other things that people see about her that is very irrelivant and should be put into constructive critcism and give her the uplifiting that she may need

I have been thinking the same thing too Larry. Something is fishy about this man dumping Fanny as soon as his wife file a law suit against her. I for one think both of them set her up to get some of her money. Though I don't think it's right to see a married man even if he is separated my heart goes out to Fanny for being so gulible and naive. I pray she learns her lesson and realize it is ok to be single and celibate until the right unattached man comes along. I was celibate for seven years before I finally met the most wonderful unattached man with no kids and we have been together for 12 years. I just want her to know that there are good black men and men in general who are out there and all it takes in prayer andpatience.

I'm not the biggest Fantasia fan but my heart goes out to Zion, Fantasia, and her family. I pray that she realizes she made a mistake by taking this man at his word and in future relationships she isn't so quick to jump in with both feet. Fantasia has enough money she could have and probably should have done a background check on this guy. I pray that lil Zion isn't having to endure much of this negativity that is surrounding her mothers poor decision. I also pray that Fantasia takes this opportunity to redirect her life back to her religious roots. She should take this experience as a lesson learned and grow from it. I don't believe it was a setup. Married men do stupid things everyday. How many men leave the evidence in plain view. Married women have found condoms in their husbands wallet, lipstick on the collar, phone bills, credit cards, etc. Men are not as sneaky and creative as we think. Although she was wrong for

Although she was wrong for helping this man committ adultery, I feel bad for as she clearly doesn't know her self-worth and that even though she has fallen that with God she can always get up. I love my son so much (not saying she doesn't love her daughter) and can't begin to ever think of doing something where I could have taken myself out because of something I am now ashamed of doing. No, I'm not perfect and no

No, I'm not perfect and no one is. But I can say that everyday I try to make decisions to minimize problems, as do most adults. The problem is not with people kicking somebody when they're down, but rather not checking each other enough as friends and family on bad behavior like we used to do. Women use to check one another on bad behavior out of love, but now we're too busy trying to justify bad decisions to make each other feel better. I take it that most on this site are fairly young so perspectives are to naturally be different, but this has done nothing but made us generationally weak. She made a bad decision as we all do; she needs to pick herself up and stop being a victim; she has a child who should always come first. I think some people on this site need to sit down with a black woman who grew up in the 50s and 60s; if anybody had reason to give up they did...and didn't. Please... we're too blessed to be trying to take an easy way out. That was my point.

Maybe ya'll have never known anyone personally who've attempted or taken their own life nor you've felt so low about your current circumstances that you've felt that was your only way out, but nothing about suicide is funny.
