One of your fave cougar and cub couples has officially gone their separate ways.  Vivica A. Fox and her ripped club promoter beau Slimm are no more.  And Slimm has something to say about it.  Read on for deets...

Slimm reached out and let us know that he is now single.  

Here's what he had to say: 

Unfortunately, me and Vivica are no longer dating. After 8 months it's time to go our separate ways. In life you can love and have chemistry with a person but Flaws can sometimes outweigh the relationship. I wish her the best and I know she feels the same.

When we asked what happened, he told us that "sometimes relationships just don't work out."

No, it's not as heartbreaking as Bobby and Whitney breaking up (don't act like you weren't hurt when the ish hit that fan), but I liked these two together.  Vivica let the world see that YBF cougars can pull a hot dude at any age.  And I guess Vivica is back on the prowl.  Wonder who she snags next...

*UPDATE* After Slimm reached out to us yesterday, he clearly had some second thoughts.  He later sent us this statement:

I want to clear the air about the rushed statement released yesterday about
Vivica and I breaking up.

Sometimes a person may act out of anger and I apologize for my "flaw" of
overreacting instead of letting time take its course.

We have all been involved in a serious relationship resulting with making
fast and unplanned decisions.

So, of course, no one is perfect.

Beyond a doubt I understand how to treat people you love. Vivica is an
important part of my life and I would never try to hurt her.
Thanks for supporting us as we figure things out.

So sounds like the breakup is not really a breakup.  Maybe they are taking a "break." I wish them the best.  They look great together.
