Gabby's 'Life Is Precious' Screening + Trey Songz & Bow Wow Visit '106 & Park'

Awards season came and went, yet Gabourey Sidibe and company are still making the rounds promoting the movie Precious. Looks like this movie may go down in the books as a classic. See pics of some of the females in the cast at a screening yesterday, plus flicks of Trey Songz and Bow Wow promoting new projects on '106 & Park' when you go inside...

Gabourey Sidibe and members of the "Precious" cast served as panelists at the Herbert Von King Cultural Arts Recreational Center in New York City for the "Life Is Precious" event. The ladies hosted a screening of the film, and even had free health screenings available.

Here's a group shot of some of the cast member from the Life is Precious screening. Angelic Zambrana, Xosha Roquemore, Ephraim Benton, Amina Robinson, Chyna Layne and Nicole Stoll pose at the Herbert Von King Cultural Arts Recreational Center in New York City.

Xosha Roquemore looked summer breezy in her outfit.

Chyna Layne wore some interesting art deco shorts. I kinda like them.

Angelic Zambrana kept it simple in a denim getup.

And Amina Robinson was there.

Elsewhere in NYC yesterday:

Trey Songz stopped by and co-hosted '106 & Park' to promote his new single and video for "Bottoms Up" with Nicki Minaj, while Bow Wow stopped in to promote his new movie Lottery Ticket.

Bow Wow posed with a t-shirt autographed by the cast.

Rosci seems to be enjoying the sandwich. I know plenty of ladies who ain't mad at her.

And Trey and Bow gave their fans a new screensaver. Fun times.

I think what you mean is he has no real experience to draw upon in his raps. But Bow Wow has always been light on content. And I agree that Tats don't make you a thug. The same EXACT thing can be said of Lil Wayne. He's now in Jail but before that he was never a Street person. He was like Bow Wow in the sense he was always around rappers with money so I don't get how he's considered so "HOOD". He looks Hood that's for sure but it's all such a fake image. This is why I love DRAKE. He's real. He does not put on these Hoodish/Thug airs. And Trey Songz is so sweet! I love when people try and defend him. He's as sweet as BOW WOW is. There is something really commanding about bow wow when you see him person but I agree with you.. in pics he poses awful and I can't stand all the tat's he's got.. he's trying to do this thug, bad boy shit.. and he's anything BUT.. he's a rich kid.. with years in the game at a young age.. I hope he grows out of this BS and find his nitch again.. Um, can I just state the obvious for a moment? The movie "Precious" was not even that good. Especially compared to the depth and detail of the book. I know, I know, we've been over why it was watered down for Hollywood's palate, but it still came off as sub-par to me. How it's still being pushed for awards I just will never understand. As for 106 and Park, why are we even talking about anything going on there in 2010?
