They don't have horrible HAIR...they have horrible WEAVE and you would too if you played 2 or more hours of tennis every other day. Some of ya'll need to stop fronting like the Williams sisters weave look like that all the time cause if you are a true fan or follower you would know that it only looks this way during tournaments/grand slams. They ACTUAL hair is very healthy and pretty...wonder what some of ya'll are looking like while typing the hate...lol

The tape she is wearing is Kinesiotape. It can be applied to all areas/joints of the body. It helps to decrease swelling and pain and makes painful movement a bit easier because it distracts nociceptors (pain receptors) in the body. It's used by Physical Therapist, ATs, etc. If you're wondering how I know this, I'm a 3rd year PT student and used this tape all the time in the Outpatient Physical Therapy setting at Columbia University in NYC.

The tape that Venus is wearing is probably cautionary tape and I have a feeling its to relax the muscles too...she uses it to play sometimes. Venus has had two days off so far because the semi finals isnt played until tomorrow. She has to find a way to keep those muscles stretching so that her knees don't lock up tomorrow because shes had 3 days off. As a professional athlete you gotta do what you can do to be as healthy as you can...hence the tape. As long as she not wearing that tape tomorrow then she should be good to go against Kim Clijster. And to anyone who has been a fan of Venus and Serena Williams for a long time should know that you should just do yourself a favor and get over how their hair looks, its a lost cause LOL
