Beyonce Wigs Out For Secret Tom Ford Show!

Delicious designer Tom Ford went vintage fashion on us as he hosted his fashion show yesterday...but in secret. Only a VERY intimate gathering of people...barely any paparazzi or photogs...and only the top fashion editors and celebs and buyers who matter to the brand were invited.

We've got pics of Beyonce and Solange caught making their secret arrival (and secret runway appearance) for the show when you read on...

Beyonce and Solange, were in tow to see the first Tom Ford women’s collection in the intimacy of the designer’s Madison Avenue store. Tom was previously the genius behind Gucci and YSL for years. He also has his own men's line (one of my fave's for the fellas) and now, a women's line.

Bey popped up looking fabulous in her super curly wig and a sequins gold dress and left in a white blouse and feminine black tux coat (above). She also hit the runway in the show as a surprise to the lucky guests. And Solo, who sat front row, rocked a feminine take on the tux look that I'm loving:

The performing artist was one of a stream of famous women who showed off the first Tom Ford women’s collection in the intimacy of the designer’s Madison Avenue store — an event so private that it took fashion back to a distant past when there were no banks of paparazzi or images whizzing off into cyberspace.

No. Solange has a great "stylist". Big difference. If she were so stylish naturally it wouldnt have taken us all these years to see it. She hired a stylist and such is evident. Perfect example Kim K has great style, worked as a stylist thus all her friends suddenly having some "style". If you recall, Solange was a mess before. Style is not something you just get. Either you have it or you dont. If such werent the case, styling in Hollywood wouldn be such a lucrative biz.

huh? Do you remember how Nicole Richie use to dress, Sarah Jessica Parker, Linsay Lohan, the Olsen twins, Rihanna? A stylist helps you pick better clothes that suits your body and also put your personality in your clothing. That's why when these stars wear their clothing with confidence it doesn't look like they're trying to look like someone else because that's their style. These guys can go to stores and pick out their different clothing because they now know what they like. But what's wrong with having someone do that for you? So when you say "it wouldn't have taken us all these years to see it" makes no sense. Solange has been quirky. She's a hit and a miss, but one thing i can say is that she does have personal style (and so does all the ladies i've listed above). Just because you have a stylist doesn't mean you don't have style.

We all have "personal style" hence the clothing we choose to wear however ones personal style will not always render them stylish per the fashion industry. And yes you are correct about those you mentioned above and they too fall into the category of being "styled" and then perhaps learning a thing or two by association. Quirky does not mean stylish and I dont recall quirk, I recall *crickets*. A good stylist can turn anyone around and if you dont think so peep the first seasons of SATC since you mentioned SJP and you will see a CONSIDERABLE change. Again style is something that is with you out the gate if you have it. you dont need a makeover and you dont just suddenly seem to have stepped your game up a la Solange. Its called you hired a top stylist. Period. Having a stylist means you are "styled" is does not mean you are "stylish". And there is nothing wrong with that. If they didnt hire stylists if would make looking at sites like these quite boring.
