Kerry Washington looks modern artsy in her new photoshoot for LA TIMES Magazine’s December 2010 issue. Kerry posed topless...but tasteful...for the futuristic, high fashion shoot with celebrity photographer Ruben Afanador and rocked a Manish Arora dress.

In the mag, Kerry chatted about her latest project, a dark movie called Night Catches Us, with cutie Anthony Mackie.

In the December 2010/January 2011 issue of EBONY, Vanessa Williams talked about priorities and family. A book publisher recently offered her $600,000 to write a tell-all book about her two ex-husbands, Ramon Hervey II and former NBA player Rick Fox, but she turned it down. Why?

Vanessa said:

I don’t want to rehash the past. I want to talk about what makes me, and why I’m a survivor. And [the publishers] didn’t want that. They wanted to know about my ex-husbands. But I’m not going to throw my kids’ dads under the bus.

Right on Ms. Williams. The "Desperate Housewife" is anything but. It's not a good look to bash your ex in front of the children you created together. EVen if he did cheat all around town. She's a classy one...

That's good what some of you women are saying re: not blasting. But, we need to keep in mind that everyone didn't come from the same background. Some people have a support system where they can make better choices. Other does not have that and going through by themselves, has no one. Um, Vanessa Williams is more relevant than both of her exes and still has a great career; OF COURSE she wouldn't do a tell-all, especially for a paltry $600,000! She probably made millions off of Ugly Betty (including residuals and merchandising). Who is the dum-dum who even approached her with that? Keri looks great, even though that hair gets scarier and scarier in every pic. I feel like it's threatening me.

Who are two women that are mature enough to bury their differences with past relationships/divorces for the sake of their childrens last name and the legacy of their fathers. I love Kerry and the pics are

I love Kerry and the pics are amazing but I don't like how they photoshopped her to be SO skinny. They went a wee bit overboard. Vanessa Williams is a class act. Period. Just because parents aren't together because of divorce or separation doesn't mean they have to be enemies with lots of backbiting. As a child of divorce, trust me, most kids would rather their parents be apart, happy, and getting along than a house full of tension and bickering. Glad she put her kids first. :)

kerry looks great! & i love how vanessa (much like halle) continue to evolve & STAY in tinseltown being able to fit in many different scenarios! everytime i think about it i wonder why vivica a. fox (as long as she been in the biz) hasnt been able to do this? tyle perry hasnt even hired her! go head, vanessa! regardless what happened with daddy 1 & 2...PAST and im glad she didnt take the time to waste it on rehashing what she's overcome for a quick dolla.

This is the first Keri shoot

This is the first Keri shoot I sort of like. I like the styling for the photos. It's very interesting. But the LA Times also did that Kobe Bryant shoot which was a disaster so I'm not 100% sure about this shoot. So glad we have the NYT and T we just do a much better job when it comes to fashion.

Kerry's lost some weight

Kerry's lost some weight lately (also noticed at the "For Colored Girls" premiere), but I like the pics. She's topless, but showing no more than a bathing suit or low-cut gown would. Kudos to Vanessa. It takes some discipline to keep your mouth shut when someone may have wronged you (don't know the whole story), so it's amazing how some folks can badmouth others for simply not wanting them anymore....
