Nicole Richie got married a few days ago to her longtime boyfriend and children's father Good Charlotte artist Joel Madden. Their first wedding photo and more wedding deets have hit the net. Read on to see Nicole's fabulous Grace Kelly inspired dress...

Bad girl turned fashion maven mommy Nicole Richie told People.com that she'd always dreamed about getting married in a dress inspired by Princess Grace Kelly's iconic wedding gown. And she wanted to have a live elephant on-site to bring good luck. And she did it.

On Dec. 11th, Nicole married longtime-boyfriend and the father of her two children, rockstar Joel Madden. The uber private ceremony was held at the fab Beverly Hills home of her superstar father, Lionel Richie and officiated by Rev. Run.

It was truly a family affair with the couple's daughter Harlow, 2, as the flower girl and 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer. Cute. I wonder if Lionel sang too. Y'all know he would grease that jherri curl up any chance he gets...

The wedding tent was made to look like a French garden and the fab wedding dress was designed by Marchesa. And if that wasn't enough, Nicole wore two other Marchesa dresses during the special day including a ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals.

Breathtakingly gorgeous dress and she looked beautiful. Congrats to the Maddens!

Nicole's mother is half black

Nicole's mother is half black and she claims black herself so I think she knows what she is talking about. Plus her culture is African American too! Nicole never claims anything else, in spite of what other people say about her.

why do black people have to claim everything. As far as I know, Nicole doesn't have black in her, she was just adopted by a black man and his wife, that doesn't make her automatically black. Who cares if somebody's is black or not.

The rumor is that her birth

The rumor is that her birth father is half Black and half Mexican but Nicole denies it. Her birth mother is Half white and half Black. Nicole went on Tyra's old show and told her yes, I'm black. When Wanye Brady tried to bring Pete and Sheila E on his show to meet Nicole she refused to meet with them and said she knows who her father is. Another rumor is that Lionel impregnated a groupie while he was married to Brenda and he convinced his friend Pete Michael to claim paternity so Brenda would not find out. I really admire Nicole and

I really admire Nicole and think people could learn so much from her. She was a 'wild child' sure but when she had her child she really focused her life around her children and family and you can tell she's extremely happy. Just goes to show no matter what you've done its okay to act out a little and have fun as long as you can reel it in and know when to say when. Wish her the absolute best!!!!
