They're constantly rapping about having a "lotta money" and such, but rapper Lil' Scrappy and his rapper girlfriend Diamond are in FORECLOSURE! We've got the exclusive deets and documents when you read on...

Lil Scrappy, government name Darryl Richardson, bought his 2,836 sq ft home in Conyers, GA back in 2004. He copped it for $182,800 back when he was still dropping singles on the radio, but not only has the home (pictured above) devalued to $123,000, but the bank foreclosed on it this past August.

And if he thought he was going to just move in with his "My Chick Bad" rapper girlfriend Diamond, that's a no-go. We've also got documents that show Diamond, government name Brittany Carpentero, got her home foreclosed on this past September by Suntrust Bank. Why? Because she couldn't pay her mortgage on her Walden Park neighborhood Atlanta home (pictured above).

She copped her house for $219,000 back in '07--during her Crime Mob stint--and it's now only worth $202,000. The house is on the market for $124,000.

Diamond's car was also repossessed last month. Both homes are currently up for sale. And a source close to her tells YBF that Diamond and Scrappy are currently renting a home in Cobb County, but are behind on their rent. When frontin' goes wrong...

Pay off your house and own it

Pay off your house and own it out right! No one an take it from you. The market will recover. You dont lose money on a house in a down market unless you sell it for less than it's worth. Taxes on a 200k house in Metro Atlanta is only about $1,900 per year and insurance less than $700 per year. You can pay that working at McDonalds!

HAHAHA. I can tell by the comments that most of you would end up in the same situation if not worse. Who told you that it was a smart move to pay a house off? That is actually one of the dumbest things you can do. It is ike keeping money under your bed rather than in a bank. If you spend $200,000 straight out of pocket on your house and then the value drops to $150,000, you just lost $50,000! not so smart. Plus even if you dont have a mortgage you stil have to pay property taxes and insurance. So if you are broke and cant pay your property taxes (hoa fees, etc) you can still lose the house! haha. i would rather put a little money down and have a mortgage i can manage vs losing my house, the $200,000 i put in to it, and my damn self respect. fools.

Uhhh, maybe you should rethink your comment. 1st off Intrest on a 200K loan for 30 years is going to run you close to $400K and thats with good credit. 2nd when you own the own the house free anc clear, it becomes collateral to borrow against. As for if the value drops, you are still responsible for the mortgage pmt on the loan, regardless of its value. Think first people.

Land down south is wayyyyy cheaper than up north, if you didn't noticed most of the time the value of the house is based on the cost of the land. Since there is more land down south it's cheaper, there's less available space. A house in the south that goes for 200,000, in the north might run for 600,000...

Yes, the term Young and Dumb have been applied to US ALL. I would think their so called teams including financial handlers would prevent this. Sadly, these two haven't had any hits let alone solo successful albums in years. The music and acting world can be temporary. Futhermore, why do they think smart entrepreneurs such as Queen Latifah (production company, box office hit movies, jazz grammy awarded album, a successfull syndicated tv sitcom (which includes royalties), Jay-Z, P.Diddy, and others. I will even randomly add Letoya Luckett, how after Destiny's Child she opened her own boutique in TX, and ventured into acting as well. Acting is too easy when you "know people", and the check comes faster and safer then the music biz. I pray they do something and be smart about their financial matters.

What I'm noticing with the

What I'm noticing with the comments, is that people are failing to realize that there is a reason for the "cheap" prices of those houses. The cost of living in the South is cheaper (across the board) as well as the salaries that Southerners make. I had a professor who moved down South from NY, and when I heard what teachers made in NY, I was shocked (much more than what teachers make down South). But then again, it was canceled out by the High cost of living in NY. NY prices would not work in AL, AR, TN, GA, etc. bc we're not making NY money. Any way, he gladly took the lower pay bc it matched his new cost of living. He also admitted that even with the higher NY pay, Southerns still had a higher "quality" of life (bc of the quality we're able to buy with so little quantity). It's all relative, people.

These houses are basic in every way and I bet their mortgages were less than 1,100 a month. I know people with houses that cost that much and actually look better on the inside. Basic plywood cabinets, basic bathrooms, small ass closets, and cheap wooden flooring. I have a family member who built their house from the ground up for about that price down south and it looks better on the inside and their mortgage is less than 800 a month. Hell I bet my rent in the DMV area is higher than their mortgage and I pay that every month ON TIME.....DO BETTER......LOSERS......NEXT!!!!

@stupid-ish No, my father is a very well educated man, he has a well paying job. One of his jobs is with the UN (Unition Nation). He traveled all around the world, China, Korea, India, Russia, Isreal, Spain, just a name of few. He works and earn every penny he has and he teaches me to do the same. he doesn't believe in these fast money, he believes in working hard to get what you want. Fist off their houses are MAD average for "ballers" Secondly why weren't the houses paid off rom jump do celebrities really pay mortgages??? I'm no where near a millionaire but if I had the money I'm paying ish off headache gone JUST PLAIN DUMB!!! Her car too?? Where they do that at??? When my family sold our house in New York six years ago, we could have gone somewhere and bought some giant house, cause believe me the bank will give you all kinds of money in the beginning. My Father's house cost over $400k and he has only been in the states for less than 8 years. He moved from Africa to the states in 2003. He owes not a penny on it, don't give me wrong, he has a well paying, but I still don't know how he did it.
