LEGAL DRAMA: Court Finds Fantasia's Lover Was Separated From Wife During Time Of Affair?!

Fantasia got some really great news for the holidays as a North Carolina court found that her lover Antwaun Cook was indeed separated from his wife during their affair. Deets inside...

RadarOnline.com reports that a North Carolina judge ruled in favor of Antwaun Cook in his divorce proceeding against ex-wife Paula saying the pair’s separation date was September 14, 2009 and not June, 2010, as Paula had claimed. Not sure which standards rthe court used, but I'm sure Paula (and others) beg to differ.

This is great news for Fantasia, though, as it allows her to argue she did not willingly or knowingly bust up the marriage of Paula and Antwaun. Paula had claimed Fantasia knew Antwaun was married and went after him anyway.

How this finding will play out on Paula’s plan to sue Fanny under North Carolina’s unique Alienation of Affection law is not known. But it's looking pretty good for ya girl right now. Wives Club 1, Homewreckers Association 0.

It really doesn't matter what the judge ruled. The courts are wrong so many times, and sometimes they just don't want to deal with certains issues in the present or in the future, so they make rulings to dissolve such issues. Judges are also bias and a lot of them use their own feelings when it comes to making rulings. I've seen judges take kids away from mothers for no reason, let child molesters off the hook, while they lock up a 17 year old for having sex with a 15 year old and call it statutory rape. You never know who you will get behind that bench. BUT all that is irrelevant to the fact that Fantasia has got to have pretty low self esteem and little self worth to even want to deal with a man who is not divorced yet, can not do anything for her, and is plainly using her. He works for a cell phone company, is not paid, and has children to take care of. Stop lowering your standards, it's not gold digging. If I am doing certain things in life, making a certain amount of money, or have a certain class about myself....you better believe that is ALL I will be attracted to. So for all those jumping up and down, praising this baboon.....I see nothing good about sleeping around with some one who left his wife and kids, buying this sucker goods, killing a child out of wedlock by a married man, putting your daughter in left field somewhere while you attempt suicide over some fool.......................You all and Fantasia need to seek some serious therapy!!ASAP!

I am a wife of 10 years and by no means do I condone adultery. I do feel that the person committing the adulterous act should be the one held accountable and that is ONLY the spouse. That other person is fornicating and that is between them and their GOD! You are right that there is NOTHING good about sleeping with a married man. But their is nothing good about women giving their bodies to men who are unworthy of receiving it through fornication. Fantasia is human and bleeds just like you and I. Go on with your life, take care of your kids and worry about you. Time heals all. Even Fantasia and her family. We have all met people, who have led double lives and lied. I believe that she did not know, who, when they are vacationg and stuff together out in open, with camera's. That does not make since. If Antwan was my husband, he would've been kicked to the curb, divorce on the way, child support on the way and alimony. Which is what Paula is doing, I'm sure. But this looser has no money, so I think Paula was trying to get something from this divorce, and since Fantasia was a fool to sleep with this married man, but him gifts, get pregnant, and put his sorry but on a pedestal, maybe Paula felt-well I just milk the cow too. But a lot of men would start being men if women would be women, plain and simple. Stop catering to something not worth a cent. You rarely hear about men taking women away from other men. Believe it or not, men have repsect for the next man when it comes to his wife. He may sleep with her but he is not trying to take that woman from that man. And in God's eyes both are committing adultry. There is no separation in his books.

I am glad that this is all out and Fantasia can move on with her life and focus on her, Zion and her career. I feel bad for Mrs. Cook based on the fact that she dragged Fantasia's name through the mud to have this outcome. Part of the process of getting a divorce is getting a separation. You have to be separated first. I don't get why its such a travesty that Fantasia dated someone who was getting a divorce. This is not a trial separation we are talking about... apparently they were just going through the process of severing ties. Now, maybe its smarter to wait just to avoid possible drama, but some big moral issue? She is not a homewrecker. That home was already wrecked. I don't see it.
