Source Confirms Rihanna & Matt Kemp's Split

Rihanna and Matt Kemp are dunzo. They haven't been seen together for weeks, and now reliable sources close to the couple have confirmed today that they've gone their separate ways. And it wasn't because of the rumored cheating Mr. Kemp was allegedly caught on tape doing.

Us Weekly reports that the once jet-setting PDA loving couple Matt Kemp and Rihanna are now on Splitsville Lane:

“It happened over the last few weeks,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “She basically was just over it. It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun,” says the source. The L.A. Dodgers outfielder also couldn’t “keep up with her crazy travel schedule” and just wants “something more normal,” added the source. "Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal," the source adds.

Several weeks ago a video surfaced of Matt and a friend leaving dinner with the paparazzi following their every move. When a female fan ran up to him, viewers assumed he was cheating with her and "got caught." Several friends and sources of Rihanna's say that was not the case at all and the female was simply a very young fan. And also "not Matt's type." The very young girl looked nothing more than a fan to us as well. But rumors took off and people began to believe it as true.

According to the reliable sources, the two split weeks ago simply because of their demanding schedules. Looks like Rih will be kissing her friends and fam as she rings in the new year in Vegas.

Although I was more a Rihanna fan than Chris, I was not naive to feel she was as innocent as the media wanted to make her out to be. And the whole BS about a man should never hit a woman, that quickly died when Charlie Sheen got away with holding knife to of his wife's throat and the media made him the victim. But, it's time to move on. Chris has moved on and Rihanna has moved on. It's time for her fans to stop acting as if they were at the scene of the incident and is related to her. She was wrong and he was wrong. Now they both have moved on.. Something tells me maybe we should follow them and do the same.

This is not surprising. What's more surprising is that ppl actually believe that they were a "couple"? Apart from a few appearances together throughout the year where in most of those pics Matt appeared to be posing and looking directly into cameras, they were hardly together. The reason why I don't like this girl is because I can see what she is doing and her camp. Everytime something positive come out about Chris, Rihanna do an interview or her camp put something out to relate it to Chris.
