Donald Trump Slams Rihanna For Bailing On His Charity Event & Performing At The All-Star Game

Donald Trump is lashing out at pop star Rihanna, saying the way she cancelled her scheduled appearance at his charity event was disrespectful. Get the deets inside...

Last weekend, Rihanna was scheduled to perform at Donald Trump's Palm Beach country club, Mar-a-Lago, but she abruptly cancelled the morning of the show. A spokesperson for Rihanna cited bronchitis as the factor but The Donald wasn't having any of that.

The Palm Beach Post reported that Donald allegedly called the "S&M" singer and told her,

"That bronchitis you don't really have better get cured, and it better get cured fast."

Seems as though Donald had already heard rumblings that Rihanna was slated to perform at the All-Star Game Sunday night, and he felt disrespected.

"For Rihanna to go to the All-Star Game and perform after she told us she was sick, that is just a lack of respect," he said.

But the Donald didn't disappoint his country club guests. He got Jennifer Hudson to fly in on her day off to entertain the crowd. And he made sure to throw another dagger in Rihanna's direction saying,

"Nothing was missed. Jennifer's a beautiful girl. She came on her day off even though she performs almost every night. She is an unbelievable talent, and her voice is better."

WOMP WOMP.

That really was

That really was unprofessional of her, and I'm a huge fan. But honestly, why on earth would he book her to perform at a country club charity event? He needs to fire his event planner if he/she recommended that they hire Rihanna as the evening's entertainment. As i said, I'm a huge fan so I don't mean any disrespect, but that wouldn't have been a good fit. Has he seen the choreography for "What's my name"? Oh yeah, he did say it was a charity event, maybe he was hoping the guests would slip 100 dollar bills into the sides of her leotards.lol. Jokes. Loves her. Jennifer Hudson was much more appropriate for the occasion. Very captivating. Oh and Donald, i'm sure she didn't come out of the goodness of her heart, she's getting paid handsomely for it. Its just business baby. Same for Rihanna, she values a larger audience over a room full of rich white folk who would've probably stared at her in horror after she was done.

Wasn't Rihanna supposed to sing at his charity on Saturday? If so, WTF is Donald Trump complaining about? She let him know that she wasn't able to do it. She told Tom Hank's wife the samething. She told her that she couldn't do her charity and then two days later Rihanna performed at the Grammys. It is more difficult to cancel a nationally televised show like the Grammys and NBA All Stars Game because the producers of those shows has commitments to the networks and sponsors. If Rihanna had to cancel all those shows, she wouldn't have probably been asked back. Donald should have realize that Rihanna had no choice than to show up and performed for the All Stars! I think he just wanted publicity to promote his reality show!

The issue here isn't whether or not someone can cancel an event, it's how you go about doing it. What she did was trifling. This is like telling your boss you are sick and can't come into work...okay fine, you can't work due to illness, you should be at home. If she was sick on "Saturday" but sang on "Sunday" okay maybe 24 hours is enough time to "heal" BUT not only did she not attend a pre-scheduled (she knew about weeks in advance) charity event for cancer but she went (on the same night she claimed to be ill with bronchitis) to the Two Kings Dinner (hosted by Jay-Z and Lebron James) and partied hard as hell. I should know. I live in Los Angeles and saw her...smdh At the end of the day she was disrespectful and should have never agreed to do the event on All Star Weekend. It was a scheduling nightmare and she and her team are foul for it. The dates for All Star in Orlando are already up. Let's hope this doesnt happen again. If you want to party fine. I am not hating at all. Party hard babe! But, dont schedule charity work on the same night. Case closed.

Did Rihanna sing at the Two Kings dinner? If she didn't sing what is your point? She had bronchitis which affected her singing making her incapable of singing at the charity. She may have wanted to rest her singing voice from singing. So what if she hung out that same night? That means nothing. Just as long as she wasn't singing at another event that same night, I think she's fine. Plus, she let Donald know in advance that she wasn't coming. Trust he had a backup singer just in case his main act didn't show up...which was Jennifer.
