Janet Jackson's True You book, which talks about her struggles with weight and self-esteem, has struck a high note with readers who sent the book straight to the top of the NY Times bestsellers list in its first week.

Congrats to Miss Jackson who is currently on tour in the States.  She will headline the Canadian Music festival in Toronto on March 12 and 13.

I read this in only 2 or 3 days. It is so well written, and I loved it that she was so candid. It really is a good book, and will hopefully help the people who absorb it's message, especially "don't compare yourself to others."

If I ever had a reason to turn gay, this woman's smile would have to be it. I love what happens each time her mouth corners go up and that beautiful smile appears. Such a vision. I'm genuinely happy for her. Not too many artists I can say the same for. For those of you talking smack about her activities after M.J's death, you better recognize because she was already on tour and planning to get the book out before he died. The books probably did way better than the tour because its something most people identify with in real life. Lets be honest, we cant walk away from a story of a celeb who seems to be having genuine problems that make them more easy to relate to us "normals".

Really. Her finances have been fine over the last few decades. The same cannot be said about her late brother until after his recent (and unfortunate) death. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, but try getting your facts in order first. I don't' believe Janet has ever tried to capitalize on her brother (in life nor in death).
