I have known June 4many many yrs, and she IS the BEST. Every1 has an opinion yes but try 2 do your homework like she has bfore u comment negetivity and hatred. Ok U dont like her hat, or u'd rather the hat then the clothes, well, She is well rounded in all areas and i bet she can make us all look fabulous in our own right. I know from exp. Just Bless her no matter what race or color just because she has come a long way and not by sleeping with every1 and not by force, its her Season and Destiny from God 2help others where the Industry won't.. And she hasn't sold her soul to the devil to get where she is.. There's a saying 'What God has 4me is 4me' and this is for JUNE AMBROSE.. They say 'God helps those who help themselves' .. I figure if God didn't help her, then she is still AMAZING to have come from nothing to something SPECIAL in MAny eyes of the beholder.. BUT, since we all know that 'Our Help Comes from the Lord', then she is STILL AMAZing, to have come from nothing and Allowed God to direct her path ..

I'm not a huge fan of June Ambrose's entire wardrobe (though I will admit her choice in shoes and handbags is impeccable!) but alot of the commentary about this hard-working woman is nonsensical, unfortunate, and a direct reflection of the lack of unity that exists in black communities. It bewilders me the extent to which my fellow BLACK people will go to tear down - to virtually assassinate - another person's character because of his or her personal differences. We are all entitled to our opinions, that's a God-given right. But does expressing said opinions feed some of your insatiable egos that much for you to be so negative and vile? I mean, do you wake up in the morning with such low self-esteems that you thrive on logging onto blogs to spew hatred for another person? It must be hatred because most of the criticism here is NOT coming from a place of "love." If this were a promiscuous woman sleeping her way around the industry for a name, or having multiple babies for millionaire men, etc., one can find logic in some of these comments...but this is a woman who came from the bottom and made it to the top. A woman who's put in her time, done her homework with due diligence, and is now reaping her rewards in life. KUDOS to that! Many YBF commentators here should take a page out of Ms. Ambrose's book.

I will say this, June came to this country with nothing, single parent home, followed her passion and made a name for herself. For over 20 years June has designed wardrobe and styled some of the biggest names in the business, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Ciara, Alicia Keys, Kelly Ripa, Kim Catrall, Puffy, Nas, Busta, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Neyo, R Kelly, Jay Z, Fantasia, Mario, Rubben Studdard, Luther Vandross, Enrique Eglesis, Dru Hill, Zoe Zaldana, Naomi Cambell, the list goes on and on people. Styled and designed wardrobe for well over 100 Music Videos, Hype Williams classics, countless photo shoots, tours, album packages, editorial shoots. June was a guest on Oprah, sat on the stage for an interview with Oprah, appeared on Regis & Kelly dozens of times, MTV, VH1, BET, E!, The View, The Today Show, the list goes on and on. June has been featured in over 3 dozen national magazines such as Vogue, INStyle,Essence, Ebony, Vibe, Source, WWD, Parents,NY POST, NY Daily News, NY TIMES,Marie Claire, list goes on. I know her, very sweet person, trained many fashion stylist in the business that have thriving careers today, meaning she has given back to many young men and woman who wanted to follow in her footsteps. One thing June would say is people are entitled to their opinion, whether positive or negative. But one thing no one cant deny her is that she is an a woman from African decent, who came to America with nothing and has become a self made millionaire. Now you may not like what she wears on a daily basis, but June has made a contribution to our culture and our music through her interpretation of fashion which has influenced people all over the world, we are talking about over 20 years of images, art if you will. Now I may be bias, cause I do know her, but at the end of the day people, you have to give credit where credit is due. I don't think June would have a problem with any of the above comments. I will say that all woman should look at June's life as an inspiration to work hard, believe in yourself and never give up on your dreams, no matter what negative things people say about what your wear, especially what you wear!, cause your wardrobe doesn't exactly define the person you are inside. I mean I may not like what June wears, simply because it may not fit my personal style, but that doesn't mean I don't like her or I wish her harm. Keep the comments coming, negative and positive, just remember, we are all subject to scrutiny on some level in our lives, just don't go too far and act as if you have walked in that person's shoes and you know them. I for one wish June all the success in the world, the problem is the more success she has, the more the more people will say negative things about her, as they do with all celebrities as they become more popular. JA's claim to fame is the "blow-up" trash bag look for Missy Elliott's, "I Can't Stand the Rain" video. Most ppl in fashion become "fab" when they mix patterns that they claim are "effortless" and "unconventional" style, but I just don't get it...she's made a name for herself and I guess by doing the show that expands her "brand." I'm sure we'll see mini June Ambroses popping up very soon...
