Tika Sumpter, fab actress from "Gossip Girl" and "The Game", hit up designer Rebecca Taylor's (pictured) store opening in New York with Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks last night.

The twosome rocked some of Rebecca's vintage inspired designs for the occasion. And we've got pics of them, Lala and Aretha at last night's Knicks game, and Sharon Leal at the Hollywood premiere of Sucker Punch, when you read on....

Tika rocked this cute vintage inspired look complete with a cream blazer, floppy hat, and calf length dress, all by Rebecca Taylor.

And Selita Ebanks rocked her Rebecca Taylor floral and polka dot dress with nude Louboutins.

And over in midtown, Aretha Franklin (FYI--many credible NEWS sources consistently identify the man pictured as 52-year-old son Eddie, but other credible NEWS sources identify him as her boyfriend--toss up) took in the Knicks game courtside at Madison Square Garden last night:

Lookin' good 'Retha.

Spikey was there cheering on the home team.

And Lala was there cheering on her man Carmelo.

And over in Hollywood, he big Sucker Punch premiere went down at the Chinese Theater:

And CW's "Hellcats" star Sharon Leal was there in a cute black and white dress.

Fun night out for the celeb folks.

STOP THE FOOLISHNESS, esp Hannibal. The only reason Bey, Alicia, or some of these artists are popular is because society is obsessed with looking white or light, not because these women are prettier than chocolate sistas. I notice facial features on women, the smoothness of the skin, smile, less makeup, the cheekbones. If Bey or Alicia take out all the things that comes with looking glam, they will look regular. I'm a dark skin athletic guy, and the stereotype of every athlete is, he likes white or light skin chicks. I've dated different women and my current girlfriend is chocolate and I find her as attractive as the other women I've dated.

Tika is pretty for any type of complexion. Why define her by her skin tone? I'm a caramel brown complexion, but I'd be offended if I was dark and read that. I've seen plenty of pretty dark woman and a bunch of funny lookin' light women. The complexion does not make the woman. In society, ppl believe being lighter MAY help a not so attractive woman look better but that doesn't guaranty a person to be prettier. I visited West Africa last year and can say with NO DOUBT that tall, lean, dark-skinned women are the most regal and confident women I have ever seen. I'm an african-american chick and I couldnt help but stare. They had high cheekbones and almond shaped eyes, aquiline noses, tiny waists YET shapely behinds and they walked around with their shoulders back and head up. They were STUNTING even the ones who lived in the rural villages! That's when I understand why there were so many WHITE MEN on the SN Brussels airplane on the way over, looking happy as hell! LOL

Actually little dummy the fact that anyone has to even point out that she's a darker shade of brown screams color-struck and nullifies the view that she is SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. The "YES for dark-skinned girls" comment is divisive and is no different from saying "she's pretty for a dark skin girl." It clearly shows that person doesn't view very many dark skin women as pretty otherwise she wouldn't feel the need to cheer for the lot.
