Nicki Minaj No Longer A Factor For "X-Factor"

For fans hoping to get a weekly dose of sassy rapper Nicki Minaj, you'll have to wait for another gig to come along. Sources report that Nicki won't be accepting any offers to become a judge on Simon Cowell's "X-Factor." Deets inside...

Earlier this week, Simon Cowell admitted that many of the names that we've heardmay be joining "X-Factor" (Paula Abdul, Jessica Simpson, Tommy Motola) were leaked by his own company to stir up interest in the show. And now, we find out, the whole Nicki Minaj thing may have just been a gossip item created for attention as well.

A source close to the "Your Love" rapper says "There's nothing going on with [X Factor]." So there you have it...no weekly Nicki-Factor.

At this stage in Nicki's career she doesn't need to be on the show! It's for people who career has lost steam like JLo. Nicki could perform on the show but she needs to focus on getting into movies, writing for other artists and preparing for her next album.

Remember a couple of weeks ago it was a fake pregnancy by her hypeman/fiance Safaree, now this fake story about the X- factor show. They knew Nicki couldn't do it anyway because of her touring, and she's working on her second album. Now there's a story about her being in a new movie call "Charge it to the game". Um Nicki may be able to put on countless facial expressions in her music videos but her stage presence is WACK. Go look at that supposed to be "sexy" performance that was posted on here a couple days ago. And her rapping is OVERrated. "It's going down...basement" -SHUT UP! If they ended the negotiations then OK - but if she did -then that was a very silly move for her. Becoming a household name is in her best interest period. She's not a very good rapper - but she is a very entertaining "personality". She needs to play up her strengths. Nicki - you need more people!
