Designer Rachel Roy and New York Knick Amar'e Stoudemire were spotted leaving the Harry Winston boutique yesterday. The pair are reportedly working on a fashion collection together. Deets inside...

Amar'e Stoudemire and Rachel Roy were spotted at the Harry Winston boutique yesterday in NYC. No...the two weren't shopping for rings or other jewelry. They are actually working on a clothing line together.

Perhaps the luxury of the HW boutique gave the duo some inspiration.

Amar'e took time to sign a few autographs. Rachel's looking gorgeous by the way. The women's line will be a part of Rachel's contemporary label for Macy's, RACHEL Rachel Roy, and will launch in fall of 2011.

Rachel Roy looks beautiful in those pictures but I agree, she does look a little bit sad though. You can really tell that she is a designer by the way she dresses, she has some great style! I always thought the same

I always thought the same thing---especially because they seem like such a strange couple. What's interesting is that her clothing line is going from strength to strength (Vogue mag, M. Obama) while DD is a hawt mess financially (foreclosures, seven-figure tax bill).

She looks so fabulous!! I love, love that dress. And actually I think that might be a good look. Amare does have a style POV; although I would agree that it's a bit unconventional. Lets give them a chance...can't be any worse than some of the bull we've seen (anyone remember LL, G-Gunit, PMiller and so on). :-)
