RUMOR CONTROL: Prince Says He Didn't Ban Whitney Houston, "She's Always Welcome"

We told you previously that reports were flying that Prince had banned Whitney Houston from his concerts because of her diva demands, but now Prince's camp has backtracked saying the ban never came from the purple one himself. Deets inside....

Contrary to what you've heard, Prince still wants to see Whitney Houston bathing in the purple rain. Mama Whit is welcome to scream her head off at any Prince concert she wants.

Through a statement released by his manager, Prince spoke of Ms. Houston saying, "she's always welcome 4 all of eternity."

Although TMZ confirmed the ban with several sources connected to Prince's tour, another source emerged yesterday saying ,

"Someone could have taken it upon themselves to say Whitney was banned ... but it did not come from Prince. Whoever decided Whitney was banned did not have the authority to do so."

So there you have it. We can expect to see more of Bobbi Kristina and momma Whitney rocking out with Prince this summer.

One of Whitney's good friends

One of Whitney's good friends who was also very, very close to Michael Jackson and now manages Chaka Khan was there at the concert. He posted this on his facebook early this morning: Raffles van Exel TMZ, will report tomorrow that PRINCE never banned Whitney Houston from his concerts, and that he never told his staff or team to report that news. He is a big admirer from her. He wishes her well and hopes that in the near future they might work together. Whitney and this guy are extremely close, he loves her to death. He manages chaka, i have seen pics of him with whitney in the vip right close to the stage. Prince had no knowledge of this. This is TMZ being messy and talking to someone who has nothing to do with prince, probably a pretend cop aka security. Prince would never do this to Whitney, he loves her and she him just like she loved MJ. Whitney has so much money she could have purchased tickets herself and Prince invited her back to hang with him. STOP AUTOMATICALLY BELIEVING ALL THE FILTH THESE TABLOIDS PRINT. SAD THAT NONE PICKED UP THE PHONE TO CHECK WITH PRINCE HIMSELF!
