Esperanza Spalding Does "InStyle" Magazine + Nicki Minaj Performs At The Paris Las Vegas

Grammy-winning artist Esperanza Spalding dons some fancy designer wear for her new May 2011 InStyle Magazine spread. See the fab pics inside and also see Nicki Minaj performing in Las Vegas.

In her new InStyle Magazine spread, jazz chick Esperanza Spalding (who was involved lots of controversy surrounding her besting Justin Bieber for Best New Artist at the Grammys this year) dons Moschino, Versace, Prada, and Michael Kors.

Esperanza will be headlining Rhode Island’s Newport Jazz Festival over the summer. Such a gorgeous girl.

And in Nicki Minaj news.....

The "Superbass" singer performed at the Chateau Nightclub and Gardens at the Paris Las Vegas hotel yesterday.

After her performance, she and her crazy faces headed over to the Sugar Factory American Brasserie to check out the snacks.

And she stumbled upon some fancy flavored couture lollipops.

Esp. is so damn beautiful. I am a chocolate natural sista who loves to see all women whether Black, White,Asian, etc in their natural state. It is refreshing when I see Black women embracing who they really are and not altering to fit into what American society views as beautiful. Nicki is just straight annoying to me. A grammy don't mean a damn

A grammy don't mean a damn thing these days thats for sure. How many other super talented singers are out there with not only beautiful voices but brains and personality that don't have as much grammy's never mind one compare to the more mainstream artists who can't sing to save their lives. I've listened to some of Esperanz's stuff and its good, she deserved her award. Its time we start rewarding good music again instead of all the empty foolery we hear on the radio.
