KISS GOODBYE: Kelly Rowland Chills On Miami Beach Before Leaving For X-Factor UK

Kelly Rowland took an afternoon to chill out on Miami Beach before leaving for her new judging job on "X Factor UK". She rocked a purple bikini, her beach hat, and a cute tunic cover up for the sun session.

How cute is she. The new "X Factor" judge has the first auditions in Birmingham Wednesday afternoon. So not sure if she'll be there for them or not as she was wrapping her her Memorial Day fun yesterday afternoon in Miami.

She gave a friend a hug and kiss goodbye.

In the statement released by ITV yesterday, the former Destiny's Child star said:

'I am so excited to join The X Factor UK and be able to spend time in one of my favourite places in the world.

'The music coming out of the UK right now is incredible with artists like Adele, Jessie J and James Blake, so I’m confident this season of The X Factor will give me opportunity to hear a few diamonds in the rough.

'Being a judge is never easy, but I promise to be as sternly honest as I can and also encourage everyone who crosses the stage. I can't wait to meet the world’s next superstar!'

I hope the 1910 people at large, will take heed to my commentary. I have some great people in my family (African-American, African, Irish, Indian, etc.) who has fought for for civil rights for everyone.. Why don't you read the books "Colored Girls" & the "One Drop Theory." It doesn't matter what race, all people should read these books. What I see for African Americans are the "Jim Crow Theory;" Black men against Black women & vise versa. Look for all who will listen: When Africans women were slaves, we were raped by the White men; and than there were White men like "Thomas Jefferson" who seemed to care about their Black women & had tons of babies with them. In South African, they're called settlers in history books, however, we now know they were murderers who came to take over South Africa with force; Consequently, SA's women were raped as well. That is why there are "Coloreds" in the United States & S.Africa. And of course the Native Americans were raped & the Whites almost committed genocide on the Indians. There is a reason why we (Blacks) weren't allowed to read. The Native Americans, as well, weren't allowed to read, however, once allowed, they had to learn the English Language, which they totally rejected & were killed (just as the Blacks) if they refused to learn English. I'm not trying to start a race riot but we are all adjoined. Black women, sometimes would have to take & raise many families who were killed. Some say, well Black men helped, also; Unfortunately, Black men could not "breast feed," so Black had to play a larger role. Black women even "breast fed" the White babies if the Slave master lost his wife to an illness. If you knew the whole truth, than we would love one another. How can Black men hate their "Mothers?" There is POWER in reading! Speaking of Jim Crow, what is all this confsuion btw. Black men & women? Once Tiger Woods & all the rich men (especially Black men) keep giving all their money to White women, than White men will profit because all those rich Black men are: Putting the money back into the White man"s World..

Wow, it astonishes me

Wow, it astonishes me sometimes when I notice how ignorant people of the black community can be. I do not judge or boycott black celebrities/ athletes who date non-black women so why do black men become so offended when black women try to broaden their mind? Second black women are not as insecure compared to most women of other races, but if it appears that way its because society and the media both attempt to diminish our beauty and steal ourpride...so get over yourselves. Love is love no matter the color.

I concur, love has no color. Life is short, we as black woman can and should date whom ever we want. The most important thing is are they treating you, like the "Queen" you are? Color, has nothing to do with it. At the end of the day you should be happy with the person you choose. I wish we as a race, stop focusing on color it's very ignorant in 2011.

The question is - "Will black men, heterosexual black men support Kelly Rowland. Or will they now boycott her music, or whatever project she's affiliated with?" Don't buy her music, just ignore her! Don't support Paula Patton, Halle Berry, Kerry Washington! Problem solved! No need for the "back and forth..!!" Peace!
