WEDDING FAB: Monica & Shannon Brown's New Wedding Invitations

Though Monica and Shannon Brown are already married, they sent out 300 wedding invitations this week for their second ceremony. The first ceremony happened back in January in secret...with only their families in tow. The couple is now inviting family and friends to a fabulous wedding ceremony on July 9th where the couple will exchange vows again.

Monica and Shannon's invites were designed by Sandi Spells Designs, of College Park. She spoke to V-103 saying,

“I would say this is probably the most extravagant I’ve created. Definitely the heaviest. I’ve used acrylic and fabric before, but this is all acrylic. And usually something like that takes a month. But when she called, I just had an idea for the whole project.”

i just want to say congratulations to my girl Monica! Truly adore and admire her as a women and a mother greq up on her music we are the same age and she has gracefully been in this industry for 16 years and she has been the most realest artist and has not let the industry nor money change her. I wish her and Shannon all the best and I hope all the hate and negativity drives them even more cause people are miserable now a days and don't have any respect for BLACK love.

I love Monica. I am happy for her and I believe she deserves the best. I am just glad she decided to leave that sorry, wannabe rapper, somebody's hype men, can't smile worth a damn baby daddy that was never going to marry her. Just because you have a child with a man does not mean that is who you are destined to end up with. So many women get that confused. I hope the second ceremony is everything she wants it to be.

Shannon has a child and a career and so does Monica ,they actually have alot in common and after watching Monicas show it was easy to see she is a solid woman but hey you said your broke. Monica never walked down the aisle she went to the courthouse so technically they did the paperwork. This is the first ceremony. Negative *ss mofo's..... Bet you aren't as critical of your own lives. WACK!!! ... once it enough. Actually the vow ceremony is between man, woman and God... The people who you didn't invite the first time obviously don't even matter. Have a fabulous reception for everyone and keep it moving. The actual moment and the feeling when he first saw you walk down the aisle and all that is gone, the whole idea of a multiple ceremony is lame.

I disagree with you I follow Monica on twitter and she seems to be the most God fearing christian on twitter! She gives us possitivity and scripture everyday! Monica is Deep in the word! I am convinced that this is Love at first sight! With them being true christians Shannon will head the house and be a father to her sons. Stop being negative if Rocko wanted to marry Monica after many yrs of dating and children they would have set a date on that engagement. I can understand a reception

I can understand a reception of some sort (still would seem like they just want attention) but really? another ceremony? why not just have ONE ceremony then? I don't get it ... I saw how what people were saying abotu her and getting with shannon bothered her. She was expressing people in "her business" on twitter. So to me ... it seemed when they did the secret vows they just wanted something sacred to them. THAT made sense...NOW...it appears as if she can't get away with seeing all these people getting attention over an actual wedding, she is also hanging out with people like khloe kardashian who got all this attention --- so now ...I have no respect for their UNION. It's just another attention getting scheme to me, otherwise you could let sleepiong dogs lie, be married and be in love with their peiced together family. She is no different than anyone else to me and frankyly I'm tired of everyone kissing her ass and giving her praise for absolutely nothing. "They're so in love and such a perfect couple" how do you know? lol Everything is great when it's new. I don't see what's the problem with them getting married every 6 months if that's their thing, they can afford it. As opposed to most people who couldn't afford their first one (should have just went to the courthouse) but had to put on a show for their family and friends most of which didn't bring a wedding gift, but took a to go plate home after the reception.

These invites look regal & elegant. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but most minds now days are simply negative. So I'm not shocked at the rants here. Half of them are probably his babymomma. The amount of negativity you see ,shows the amount of misery in the world. These invites are NOT gaudy at all. Very beautiful. But had they been lily white and the usual type you would've said something to. Monica and Shannon always look happy and comfortable with them. I'm so happy for them. I LOVE these invites. Not the

I LOVE these invites. Not the typical run of the mill invite. Also the navy blue matches the crown. Usually royal colors are blue, purple, burgundy and they all look beautiful at weddings. And Monica and Shannon can't control the fact that they invited someone who didn't have sense enough not to post it, I have followed Monicas career and she was discovered at Ryan Camerons talent show. So she's known him since she was 11 but she probably cussed him out after he put the invite on the web and tweeted it. And even called the invite maker. Truth is Monica has paid the press no mind. She is kind on twitter. Motivates women, talks about her kids and goes on. I'm SO happy for her. And for those who ask. She married about 8 months ago. Just her and Shannon at the courthouse. Most people who do that have a wedding and or reception later. Planning takes time. But hey wouldn't be right If somebody said something negative
