PICS: Toya Carter Gets Prettied Up For Her New Orleans Bridal Shower

BET reality star and Lil Wayne's ex-wife, Toya Carter, is getting married again. And she's preparing with her fiance' Mickey "Memphitz" Wright for a summer wedding...just like her girl Monica...and it's set to go down in just a couple weeks.

So over the weekend, Toya traveled back home to New Orleans to celebrate her bridal shower with friends. Pics of the bride-to-be when you read on....

The soon-to-be Mrs. Wright rocked a cute strapless white mini dress for her bridal shower this weekend in her hometown of New Orleans. And her girls--likely her bridesmaids--rocked their purple Team Toya tanks for the purple and white themed party.

Hmmm....can you pick out what's off about this cake?

Toya did look cute in her dress and blue sandals.

Toya also owns a boutique called Garb in Uptown New Orleans, and is preparing to expand to Atlanta. Her daughter Reginae and friend Tameka "Tiny" Cottle weren't in attendance but tweeted about how cute she looked from the pics. Well isn't that sweet....

I know everyone always try to find the fault of a person, but if you are not aware it was Toya's party. Her maid had to give the party and who give a damn about the what the cake say. This child is on the move and I am proud of her. When you have the world against God have to be for you. So, Toya it's your season and I a truly happy for you. How can anyone not like Toya? I can't believe this girl has sooo many haters! OMG! i am happy for her and all of her sucess. She seems real humble and normal. I love the way she trys to bring out the best in her family. Memphitz is oh so cute--lawd that's a sexy ass piece of chocolate man-- anyway--- Go Toya- Team Toya!!!! I read the book and it was good.

You sound miserable as hell (inmymadeavoice) Damn! One thing about a woman that has her shit together, we know who our greatest haters are. It usually tends to be some lonely ass, miserable, left behind bitch that can't be happy for someone. It's always some tramp trying to hold you down, never letting go of your past errors because she can't get over hers. Black love is always beautiful. At least she's getting married and not just settling for baby-moma status. Damn! She could have met a plenty ballers in the industry and made a career out of being a baby-moma like Nivea did. She could have had more children by Wayne and milked that cow but she didn't. She made a mistake, she learned from it, she has grown and moved on with her life. Just be happy for her growth and you'll be amazed what blessings may come your way. When you learn to be happy for other people GOD might bless you with some of your life dreams and you won't be so damn bitter. Black women lets get it together.
