The View's Sherri Shepherd is working hard to get her body right for her upcoming wedding to her her fiancé, TV writer, Lamar Sally. (No that's not her daddy now stop asking.) 

But that's not the only thing that's got her motivated. The white dress and preparation for a future baby have her working overtime. Read on to find out what Sherri is doing to get in shape...

Sherri Shepherd, who suffers from diabeties, has struggled with weight loss and fertilty issues in the past . She miscarried her son Jeffery's twin sister when she went into labour six years ago. The comedienne and co-host of "The View" has now made a conscious effort to get her body right. The star told People:

"I have to lose as much weight as possible for me to be healthy to carry a baby"

Sherri's workout regimen includes  personal training sessions, Zumba dance classes and a strict South Beach Diet.

"I go at 7 in the morning, four times a week to see my trainer over at the Reebok Club. She's doing a lot of interval training with me, and these things called suicides. Those are really tough. "

Her bridesmaids Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Niecy Nash, Kym Whitley and Nicole Brown  even got fit with her during a recent wedding dance class rehearsal.

Sherri, who got engaged last year to her boyfriend Lamar, was surprised with a ring in a bowl of M&Ms (which she did not eat). Lamar even asked her 6-year-old son's permission for her hand in marriage. How sweet!

The wedding is scheduled to take place in her hometown of Chicago sometime in August. Congrats to the couple!
